We're super excited to be back at Stay on May 21st when we welcome back long-time friend, and veteran NOSI Music artist, HOSKA back to the booth with us to share some future-forward Nu Disco beats with us.
To turn up the heat even more, we're teaming HOSKA up with the infectious percussive energy of JIMMY LOPEZ! Jimmy is one of the most sought after performers in NYC, and we're psyched to have him in the house with us once again.
Indie-tronic spinster, Indicant, will be on decks to support his latest release on NOSI Music, the 2-part tech and deep house monster titled "Slow on the Uptake" with studio-mate Corey Baker. Resident DJ and label A&R, GIL K, fills out the lineup for the evening.
It gets better....we've added a little eye candy to the party this time. International VJ superstar, CARLO VITUCCI from MothLab (Italy) will be joining us in the basement this month!
ATTENION GEAR-HEADS, TECH-TYPES, and anyone who like flashing lights and things:
HOSKA will be playing his entire set on the yet unreleased SERATO ITCH-based NUMARK NS-6 DJ controller that he personally designed and tested for NUMARK for professional DJs.

In an abyss of releases dropping weekly across the web, in an ocean of nights springing up by the hundreds in every city, How does one producer/dj stand out? In the case of Mike Hoska, that is not a concern. "The only thing that ever mattered to me was to enjoy playing & working on music, the second it became a compromise was the moment the idea's and workflow ended" says the 25 year dj/electronic musician vet. What to expect from Mike is "anything", a true craftsman of reading a room and directing a vibe, a world class turntablist, a relentless digger, and an outside of the box performer. Whether its incorporating controllers he's developing during the day, bridging sequencers with delay line samplers and televisions, or playing a rare groove set in a lounge to a peak hour techno/house set. Do not expect genre specific's, as you might hear Screaming J Hawkins or you might hear John Carpenter. Either way there will be a driving force that will move you with funky uplifting percussion, heady synth work, and the occasional humor thrown in.
