Back again with another huge line up. Seuil: From Reunion Island in Indian Ocean, where he was borned 28 years ago, Seuil grew up into a natural, colorful and miscegenation environement. As a young DJ though, Seuil used to celebrate music either in the ravy woods nor fields or beach clubs, then moved to Paris to discover some more international life cultures around year 2000. In Paris he discovered A club scene starting spinning in places like Rex Club, ex-Trytique (aka Social Club), Nouveau Casino or La Scène Bastille. A few homeworks later, Seuil was playing international gigs in famous clubs such as remarkable PanoramaBar, Fabric, Watergate, Womb, DC 10, Harry Kelin, Kama Kama or Fuse where he had been resident for more than 1 year through the Lessizmore parties and recently he’s became resident of the infamous Londoner "Half Baked" Sunday’s party. Life in the city added to the discovery of new movements in music bring him to production in 2005. He quickly became a prolific beat makers, and has been named "best newcomer of year 2006".. A few years later, the producer has released EPs on Minibar, Freak n’Chic, Circus Company, Moon Harbour, Raum..Musik, Welcome to Masomenos, LomidHigh, Adjunct, Esperanza, Einmaleins and his own label Eklo. What’s more, Seuil’s music has been compiled on several Cocoon Compilations among which Raresh and Dinky’s ones! Tolga Fidan: Hailing from Paris via London via Istanbul, don’t call our multi-instrumentalist French. Born and raised in Istanbul, studied in London, and relocated to Paris in 2005, Tolga Fidan considers himself Turkish above all else. At just 14, Tolga was playing bass and guitar in post rock bands. Always drawn to experimental music, he was taken with the sounds of Sonic Youth, Autechre, Pansonic, and Austrian experimentalists Fennesz. From this past, Tolga’s musical interest organically morphed into deep techno, signed exclusively with Vakant, and became the label’s youngest-ever artist. Since breaking into the electronic dance music consciousness with his first ever release "Now I’m Weak EP" on Vakant (VA009) in 2006, he has earned the esteem of fans and techno heavyweights the world over in record time. Perhaps even more freaky, his lush and beautifully produced debut EP was created from the most modest bedroom studio means and mixed on headphones costing less than a round of late night drunken kebabs. Almost instantly this EP got the attention of people like Sven Vath. From there, in 2007 Tolga released "Venice / Tanbulistan EP" (VA014) to critical appeal. Unprecedentedly a track from both his first 2 EPs was licensed to Cocoon for their seventh and eighth season Ibiza mix compilations. Le Loup: Leonard Perret aka Le Loup may still only be in his early 20s but there is plenty to prove he’s a frontrunner in the current crop of young Parisian talent currently sweeping the globe. With his warm, funk inspired, groove-led productions with shades of Detroit techno and jazz plus his love of hip-hop and years exploring all facets of house music during his degree in sound engineering, it’s no surprise he was a natural fit for Wolf + Lamb, releasing his first record on the imprint age 21. The ‘See Line’ EP quickly became a massive success for the young artist, paving the way for a number of exciting projects and collaborations, namely his union of musical forces on a couple of tracks with the unstoppable Soul Clap (Le Clap) and the launch of a new label Hold Youth with close friend Seuil. Hold Youth will be an ‘open-minded’ vinyl only label dedicated to putting out a wide range of music encompassing disco, house, techno, hip-hop, dubstep and anything in between. Upcoming label parties will no doubt shed more light on what’s in store. Le Loup is certainly not a single-minded artist and this is further displayed in his additional projects as Childhood 87 or his collaboration with Clement Meyer to become part of Get The Curse Music. As Le Loup he has delivered productions or remixes from various label heavyweights including Life and death, Air Drop or Esperanza with a forthcoming EP soon to drop on Eklo. His soul-melting yet playful house sound has garnered support along the way from Seth Troxler, Damian Lazarus, Matthew Dear and Jay Haze among others. As an increasingly prolific DJ, Le Loup has rocked parties around the globe, snapped up by major underground institutions such as The Wolf + Lamb Marcy Hotel, Dimuschi in Paris, Club De Visionaere in Berlin, DC10 in Ibiza, Louche in Leeds and Half baked in London where he now a resident. As the creative young talent continues to spread his wings, you get the feeling the best is yet to come. Dead Rose Music Company: Brought together, during a conflict born from two feuding families, by the love of underground music. Seeking the creative release from the mounting pressures of their opposing kin, The Dead Rose Music Company have chosen to keep their identities a secret as protection from reprisals from their families. Escaping the conflict, TDRMC were brought together whilst digging through crates of old vinyl following the disco revolt. It was a chance meeting over a record that led to this forbidden union. Meeting in secret to share tales of disco beats and dance floor treats, TDRMC began an obsession with rhythmic movement and music through the ages. Maintaining the secret and the façade of the feud they began to DJ at secret venues, playing for hours to the thronging masses, introducing different genres to one another, testing the water and lowering the barriers and conceptions of genre constraint “who says we can’t play disco with techno? If it’s a great record then we will play it in the context of seeing the dance floor swell to the dark bass and ethereal strings”. To date TDRMC have played solo at parties all over the world but until now have never come together in the public eye. The future sees the release of their “May Contain Samples” series of tracks, garnering support from The Magician & Aeroplane, Feel My Bicep, Sleazy McQueen, Soul Clap, Mark E, Chris Duckenfield and Horse Meat Disco amongst a number of other heads. This has led to the creation of their own label “Taikomochi”, which will launch its with an EP from TDRMC and Tomas Malo and see further exclusive releases of their sought after edits, original material and tracks from other artists. “The tracks we use mean something to us, be it a track from our childhood, a guilty pleasure that has been enjoyed in private or an epic moment on a dance floor that has blown our minds. Each track is carefully deconstructed and meticulously rebuilt around new elements, instrumentation and sequencing. Hopefully we capture the original feeling of the track and bring to light parts that move us, be it a single sound, instrument or line from the lyrics.” Listening to the tracks we were sent, you could hear that each sound is there for a reason. The structuring echoes the sentiment of the dance floor, epic builds, teasing and silence defying drops in to swelling crescendos. “When we DJ we do the same thing, cutting, looping and re-sequencing on the fly, using different parts of tracks and fusing them together to create new sounds and textures. We just love seeing people dancing and going crazy.” Releases include “Just a Bitter Love” on Wolf Music which was one of the biggest selling vinyl releases of 2010; “Am I Still the One” released on E.A.R and featured a remix from the legend Rob Mello. December 2010 saw the release of the House Is the Cure EP which had tracks from Nicholas, OOFT and Dexter Wansel and February will see the long awaited release of Bad Desire on limited edition green vinyl for the Kolour LTD series and is backed with a track from Cole Medina and Nicholas.
