One of Australia’s premier festivals is set to be bigger and better than ever this year. FasterLouder is presenting and will be bringing you a stack of full coverage – peek below for the exclusive lineup of acts you’ll be seeing when Splendour in the Grass returns to Belongil Fields in Byron Bay on August 4 and 5, and stay tuned for info on sideshows around the country.
Representing somewhat of a UK indie invasion this year, it will see the return of Bloc Party to the festival stage as well as the Arctic Monkeys, Kaiser Chiefs, The Shins, Lily Allen and nu-rave heroes Klaxons.
The local contingent ain’t too shabby either: the Dirty Three will be touching back down in the country especially for the festival, seminal Aussie group Powderfinger will also be there while The Cat Empire will be playing a rare live show.
