  • After a fantastic start to their new party The Sprawl with a packed Alibi seeing a storming set of slowed down techno by Nathan Fake, Pure Groove and allez-allez team up once more for another night of music for dancing. This month’s guest is Jeremy Dade, one of the founders of the Greco-roman party collective from the early days when they were putting on Hot Chip’s first album launch party in a strip club, through to the infamous Shunt party and the eclectic tag team sets in festival tents. He has flown from the Greco-roman nest to concentrate on his Leather Upcycling Label, Genuine Article, but is still a compulsive hoarder of vinyl, sure to bring an eclectic arsenal of music. Big tunes a guarantee! Also along for the ride are some djs from an establishment responsible for the best news to come out of Dalston for a while. Ignoring all those jeremiads about the death of the physical format – Kristina Records recently opened for business on Stoke Newington Road specialising in new and second hand vinyl, tapes, cdrs and ephemera. A new record shop is always a cause for celebration and some of the guys behind the shop will being joining the bill on the night to literally ply their wares on the decks. And once again all for free so come – dance with us.
