On the 5th August 2011, top music production college ‘Point Blank’, will meet with arguably the hottest venue in London right now - The Horse & Groom.
The Point Blank Label night is a new regular feature at The Horse & Groom, taking place on the first Friday of every month, bringing you PURE QUALITY HOUSE MUSIC.
The Point Blank Music Production College has previously taught students such as Claude VonStroke & Tayo. The record label was setup to pick out the talent early. The label night will feature top student tracks and forthcoming releases on the Point Blank imprint. Expect up and coming talent to be showcased.
As if Danny J Lewis wasn't enough to keep you grinning upstairs, the globetrotting Mr C is playing downstairs, in a rare London performance!

Danny J Lewis is well established as a Garage & Deep House veteran. Enjoying hits like “Spend The Night” in the late 90s and maintaining his mark of quality, via his “Enzyme Black” alias, Danny has worked with the cream of the dance world. Frequently working with labels like; Ministry Of Sound, Defected & XL, Danny has offered both his talent as an artist and his technical insight behind the scenes.
Having worked as the course developer at Point Blank for 4 years, Point Blank are proud to present him on the eve of their label night launch.

Carlotek (Point Blank/SP Recordings)
Label Co-ordinator Carlos Martín, AKA Carlotek, steps up on blending duties. Carlos enjoyed considerable success on his first release last year, with DJ support from Roger Sanchez, Dubfire and Nic Fancuilli, not to mention press and airplay on radio stations like Ministry Of Sound Radio, Juice FM (Brighton), The Galaxy Network & BBC London. Carlos put out “Rosario” his unique take on Deep House & live Flamenco guitar; what he likes to call Flamencotek.
Now, Carlotek is pushing on with his second release ’Uplifter’, out on Point Blank in August. The track is already recieving early support from Paco Osuna, Nico DeCeglia (MOS), Lewis Dene (DJ Mag), Helene Stokes (DJ Mag) & Jason Pepperrell (Juice FM).

Danny Raper (2020 Vision)
Danny Raper has proved his colours as a DJ & promoter. Having been taken on by Ralph Lawson to take care of his 20:20Vision parties, Danny took the event by the scruff of the neck and blew it up. He took the event to London’s hottest venues such as The Village Underground & the ever secret, Hearn Street Car Park! Danny continues to bring in top talent like Tensnake & Motor City Drum Ensemble, so we expect the 20:20Vision saga to continue for some time to come.
Unsurprisingly, Danny has quality taste as a DJ as well. His DJ sets maintain interest throughout, whilst keeping the vibe pumping and always keeping one ear to the underground.
