With the Strøm Festival almost coming to an end, What Happens and Culture Box heat up for the grande finale Saturday night.
Tim Andresen rolls up, bringing with him a spectacular lineup of disciples from his What Happens imprint. Headlining will be Chris Rawles jetting in from the UK. Named "The One To Watch" by DJ Magazine, Chris Rawles is currently being praised from all ends of the scene and his new tracks on What Happens can be heard in the sets of Richie Hawtin among others. Fusing funky jackin' beats and groovy basslines in both his productions and DJ sets, Chris has carved his own unique sound that he is well known for.
As one of Denmark's most prominent new DJs, Chris Minus is best known for his creativity as a music producer and his signature deep house sound. Now signed to What Happens, Aki Bergen's Neurotraxx and Kevin Yost's I Records to name a few, he is quickly making a name for himself. His performances as a DJ never fail to keep fans coming back and is why he is regarded as one of the finest new DJs in Copenhagen.
To open up in style we have invited Zinkernagel in for his mainroom debut. Delivering quality sets downstairs with PartyHarders and Ballroom Jockeys, Zinkernagel remains one of the best kept secrets of clubbing in Copenhagen. We strongly recommend everyone to arrive early to hear him spread his deep techy beats.
They all join label boss Tim Andresen who is finally back at the club he calls home in Copenhagen. Tim: "I've locked myself in the studio this summer working on new material. That means some hot new stuff is coming out on What Happens, the Italian Starlight Unlimited label, Seamless Recordings also known as 'The Home of True House', Ireland's übercool Elevation Recordings and London-based SP Trax with more to tell you about soon. With the heavy rain in early July spoiling most of my plans for Copenhagen this summer, I only managed to play the closingset at the 5000-strong Copenhagen Beach Party a few weeks ago and now can't wait to be back on the decks again to play in front of all my friends and followers. Should be awesome and hope to see many of you there".
