After two events bringing you some of the best techno talent Europe has to offer, Septembers event is all about bringing it right back to where we started. A night choc full of local dj's who are busting to show you just how much talent there is across South Wales, for a price that you just can't beat for 6 hours of pure techno loveliness.
Lenny Barton
Already 2011 has been a great year for Lenny Barton, production wise, he has ha...d tracks signed to Luca Ricci's label Aenaria, and Sasha Carassi's Globox Digital. Both EP's have recieved support from DJ's as big as Dubfire. More tracks have been signed with some great tech house and techno labels with more to be released later on this year.
Fixed Rate
For those of you old enough to remember, Fixed Rate was a stalwart of the Cardiff breaks scene for a number of years. Playing across South Wales, his unique style brought him many accolades, fans and props from those who knew their music. Semi-retired for the last few years, and now playing exquisite techno, we've managed to persuade him to come and play, and show us that he's still got it! His sets are rare these days, so miss this one at your peril!
Mr Ben
Well known across South Wales for his Dub Step sets at well respected nights Such as Aperture and One Mission, Ben's love of techno is maybe something that Cardiff's clubbing scene is not fully aware of. Equally at home rinsing out fast and hard beats as well as the slower dubstep vibes, we're really exited to have Mr Ben on the line up, allowing him to showcase a different side to his musical tastes that will sure to be pleasing on the ear to the System 909 faithful.
Two or None
If J.L.D is the System 909 resident then we guess you could call Two or None the resident guests. Their no nonsense sound encompasses the harder edge of the System 909 spectrum, influenced by Dj's such as Adam Beyer, Speedy J, Chris Leibing, their fusion of Tractor and Machine sets are technically brilliant and sonically chest shattering. If you haven't caught one of their sets yet, what are you waiting for?
J.LD
As always the guests will be backed up by resident and promoter J.L.D. After a hugely busy few months, with gigs across south wales supporting techno legends Dave the Drummer, and Mark E.G, bringing Ed Mackie and Sasha Carassi to Cardiff as well as starting System 909's sister night Analogue, J.L.D is looking forward to bringing his trade mark sound back to the decks of Undertone, and smashing up the dance floor.
