Over the past two years Âme have been house music’s brightest talent. Emerging from a small German town they have provided a welcome breath of fresh air to dance music with their Detroit influenced house sound, putting the soul back into the genre. Their debut single Rej in 2006 was the underground hit of the year, a sexy pumper that descends into dark minimalism only to emerge 10 minutes later soaked in sweat but triumphant. and tore down the boundaries between house and techno, getting caned for months by house and minimal DJ`s alike.
Dubbed in the press as “the founders of the modern house renaissance” and the highlight of this years Sonar Festival in Barcelona, Âme come to Perth Friday the 21st September at Bar Open.
