  • Multikore- Dark Techno from the Heart of London Town The Multikore Label party moves from Berlin to London with a unique series of showcase events. Bringing its cutting edge dark industrial soundscapes to Brixton with a range of emerging techno heavy weights from the global scene. Diarmaid O Meara (www.facebook.com/diarmaidomearamusic) A three turntable wizard with a flair for the unexpected, Irish techno peddler, DJ, producer and owner of Gobsmacked Records, Diarmaid O Meara, is a name that has quite rightly been etched into the minds of a sizeable and ever growing chunk of Europe’s even more sizeable and ever growing Techno cult. After an intensive and highly successful number of years with acclaimed releases across numerous labels, being branded at the beginning of 2009 as ‘One to Watch’ by M8 magazine and “One of Techno’s brightest new stars” in early 2010 by Tilllate Magazine, being featured in a myriad of music magazines including Notion, Tilllate, CORE, DJ Mag and I-DJ Magazine, Connected, ezines, national and global radio stations, TV channels, endless collaborations and a massive, hectic gigging schedule alongside his uniquely intense, energetic and entertaining style of three turntable techno mash up sets , Diarmaid has proven himself to be up there with his peers and one of the best in his field to emerge in recent years. 3Phazegenerator (www.facebook.com/3Phazegenerator) 3Phazegenerator ignites the joy of bass, drive and funk that people love on the dancefloor the world over. Merging techno with breakz, acid & latino teknology. After playing at the early raves of acid house and seeing the influence of sound systems like Spiral Tribe on the music scene he developed a keen intelligence with techno production and an insight into the workings of the dance floor. Early vinyl releases blended dark electro with darker tribal elements. This was cemented with the Moonlanding release written with co producer Maxx Polymeric. With the development of laptop technology, VSTi's and file sharing he had the idea to travel the world living in different places to absorb the cultures whilst still producing and running his first label Generator UK. Working in this way took him to Bangkok for 2 years. It was here in collaboration with Maxx (who was in Italy) that the seminal ‘No need for needle’ was written. Showcased by Hawtin for over 3 months this attracted a lot of attention and saw releases from collaborations intensify to span over 15 labels. From Bangkok he moved onto Berlin where his style darkened with the explosion of dark techno and the pulsing underground scene of Berlin. It was here that Multikore was started showing a maturity of style and a coursing individual sound of dark scapes and organic stab structures creating his most solid releases yet. With remixes from Logo Tech, Audio Injection, Hefty, Real Mother, Electrorites and Maxx, Plus the Multikore Sessions radio showcase that feature on Techno FM and Fnoob his music has never been more accessible. The Phuture is moving its feet.. Steve Kyri (www.facebook.com/stevekyritechno) With his unique form of modern, underground, Techno in mind. London based, DJ and Producer, Steve Kyri, has slowly but surely been getting the attention of listeners from all over the world. Drawing heavy influences from the likes of Speedy J, Chris Liebing, Adam Beyer, Richie Hawtin and Robert Hood, his tracks are mainly dominated with dark rolling basslines, heavy drums and lot's of psychedelic synths and stabs, with releases also under his alter ego, The Lost Boy. Steve is also a resident DJ for online Techno radio website, fnoob.com/radio/techno-radio. You can catch 'The Real Techno Sessions With Steve Kyri' on Friday night / Saturday morning of every month between the hours of 01.00-03.00 (GMT). Maxx (www.facebook.com/pages/MAXX-Polymeric-Records/190334806208) DJ/producer Maxx, originally from Italy, is the owner and creator of Polymeric Records. and runs together with Rene Reiter the acclaimed label Carbon Audio, based in Austria. He is recently gaining the respect and support of DJ's like Richie Hawtin, Claude VonStroke, Chris Liberator, Patrick DSP, Matt K, Lars Klein, 3Phazegenerator, Aaron Liberator, DJ Misjah, just to mention a few now playing his tracks at their gigs! Maxx is well known at London Techno parties for his broad taste in Techno from minimal to funky to acid, to a more hard, raw edged sound, with rolling bass lines. His label launched in 2006 and has had six very successful releases featuring tracks from DJ Ogi, Chris Liberator, Sterling Moss, D.A.V.E. The Drummer, Jeff Amadeus, Ignition Technician, Concrete DJz, Pounding Grooves, 3Phazegenerator, Rene Reiter, Albert Kraner and M3ld. His inspiration largely comes from his love for the London techno scene having played at many of the free parties for Underground Sound, E1S, Manik, and Malfaiteurs sound systems in and around London, and clubs and technivals in UK, France, Spain, Germany, Austria, Croatia, Poland and Italy, alongside Marco Lenzi, Aaron, Julian and Chris Liberator, D.A.V.E. The Drummer, Sven Wittekind, Ignition Technician, Pounding Grooves, Sterling Moss, Boris S, Jerome Hill, DDR, Dj Zebedee and Boy George to name a few! Maxx has been resident DJ for Koncrete, Tekslaves and On-Set parties in London, playing at many of the best techno venues in the city, like The Fridge, The Mass, Brixton Jamm, The Rhythm Factory, Club 414, Club Babalou and many more. He recently started exploring more musically with his productions, thanks also to the close collaboration with old friend 3Phazegenerator. After producing four handedly the succesfull track ‘Moonlanding’ released on Generator UK in 2007, the two decided to start collaborating more closely. This collaboration has produced so far many succesfull releases on a number of international labels, crossing all kind of techno in the meantime, from the stripped down minimal techno of ‘No Need For Needle’ out in 2010 on Carmarage, and playlisted by Richie Hawtin, to the hard techno monster ‘Shoot Da Bass’, released in 2011 on 12” on Ganez The Terrible’s super label Guild, and passing by the pure techno of ‘Belter’, also released in 2011 on 12’ on Rene Reiter and Maxx inprintl Carbon Audio. Maxx is still collaborating with 3Phazegenerator, with releases planned on big profile labels coming out soon, but also espect more releases from him on his own. Soon will be out a solo EP from him on Corrupt Systems, and then some more of his work on Heaven To Hell, Central Music Ltd Remixs, Meld and Multikore.
