Since beginning in 2007, MNML SSGS has developed a strong association with high quality, forward thinking techno music. Recently MNML SSGS has expanded into the ‘real’ world, with a series of parties and special collaborations. In March 2011 we had planned our first club night at Module, but it had to be cancelled due to the Tohoku disasters. Since then we have been waiting for the right moment to reschedule the party. Now is the time! And for this event we have invited two of our favourites, Italian duo natural/electronic.system.
B2F: natural/electronic.system. (Italy)
natural/electronic.system. are Antonio Giova and Valerio Gomez de Ayala, a DJ/producer duo from Napoli, Italy. Following closely in the footsteps of Donato Dozzy, NES explore the deeper, hypnotic side of techno. Antonio and Valerio have a real ability for building their sets, allowing the music to breathe and slowly develop. Moving from ambient to deep house and techno, their track selection is impeccable, as is the pacing of their sets. The special talents of Antonio and Valerio brought them to The Labyrinth festival in 2009, where they played a memorable set of captivating, slow burning techno. This will be their first time back in Japan since then. Because of their talents at creating a story with their music, we have asked Antonio and Valerio to take control of the decks for the whole night. natural/electronic.system. will be playing open to close. Get ready for a proper session.
B1F: ‘Sound garden’ chill out room
In 2011 we started a regular series of Sunday evening chill out parties in Tokyo at Bar Orbit called ‘Sound Garden’. For this night we will be transporting the Sound Garden vibe to Module. Two of the founding members of MNML SSGS – Chris and Dave – will be playing, and Sound Garden residents David Dicembre and Jelomu will join them. If you need a break from the main floor, come and relax in the chill out room, which will be featuring quality ambient, downbeat and IDM all night.

MNML SSGSは2007年に始動して以来、ブログとミックスシリーズを通して最先端のテクノ、ハウス、アンビエント、IDMなどをプッシュしてきました。2010年からは日本・オーストラリア・オランダでのパーティーオーガナイズやDisk Unionで配布しているMNML SSGSのミックスの限定CD-Rなどを通して少しずつブログの外にも活動の場を広げていき、2011年3月には遂に東京では初めてのMNML SSGSのパーティーを開催する予定でしたが、東日本大震災の影響でやむなく中止にしました。時間はあいてしまいましたが、この度は2009年のラビリンスでのディープで哀愁溢れた美しい夕暮れセットも記憶に新しいnatural/electronic.system.をイタリアより招いてリベンジします！

イタリアのナポリ出身のDJ・プロデューサーAntonio GiovaとValerio Gomez de Ayalaは、大先輩でもあるDonato Dozzyのようにテクノのよりディープでヒプノティックな面を追求しています。抜群のテイストとフィーリングで、選んだトラック一つ一つの良さを最大限に生かし時間をかけてつくりあげていく彼らのサウンド、ペース、雰囲気は独特のもので、今回はそれをできる限り引き出せるように、またオーディエンスが思いっきりそれに浸れるようにオープンからクローズまでメインフロアでプレイしてもらいます。

B1Fは2011年にスタートしたチルアウトミュージックをメインとした日曜午後のレギュラーパーティー、Sound Gardenが担当します。MNML SSGS創始メンバーのChrisとDave、そしてSound GardenのレジデントDavid DicembreとJelomuが一晩中アンビエント、ダウンビート、IDMをお届けします。メインフロアから休憩を取る際にはSound Gardenのチルアウトルームにお越し下さい！
