LUCY aka Luca Mortellaro, is a published author, experimental sound designer, producer, DJ, and founder of Resident Advisor's #6 Top Label of 2011 - Stroboscopic Artefacts.
The Stroboscopic Artefacts imprint by LUCY has emerged as one of the most exciting and forward thinking labels in all of electronic dance music, and it's ‘compressed dub’ approach towards production and mastering has instantly lauded any SA release as “buy on sight” by the most discerning of DJs and Producers.
LUCY's productions can be found at not only at his own label, but also at Leibing's CLR, Prologue, Mote Evolver and more. Meanwhile, his DJ sets are known for its use of deeply dubbed textures layered with lucid IDM expressionism and techno functionalism - a style too elusive and angular for any one genre.
