First off, a HUGE thank you to everyone who came to our February party, you all made it such a fantastic affair to be involved in and we love and appreciate the unique vibe you bring to our night! The DEFINITION family is happy to invite you to one more fabulous night at one of East London's most legendary venues, the Horse & Groom. This venue has played host to some of the biggest names of the world underground pop scene (as Seth Troxler so perfectly describes it) such as Jamie Jones and Miguel Campbell.
We will be returning to host the ground floor at The Horse and Groom on Friday, March 16th, and guess what, our residents and guests will be joined by a secret guest highly established on the scene.
The secret guest's project was created in 2008 and their DJ reputation has been cemented through out the years with appearances at world famous venues such as the Zoo Project and Delano in Ibiza, as well as London's fierce warehouse party institution, One More. Creativity came as a natural progression and their releases so far combine the right mix of harmonic melodies, natural sounds and electronic beats. With support by some of the scene's main tastemakers such as Loco Dice, Steve Lawler, Timo Maas, Marco Carola, Nima Gorji, Onur Ozer, System of Survival and Matthias Tanzmann this project is continuously working on new material and as a result we will be hearing their name and listening to their sound for years to come. Expect the sound of Ibiza, London and Berlin blended into one, a set you simply can not miss!
Among those complementing the Secret Guest are Italian nu disco magician Goodwork Office who is firm favourite at the Definition headquarters (sweet and twisted melodies combined with deep beats) and Rish Dheally who impressed us with a recent set we heard him play at Electric Disco. Also, joining the action will be Jon Vamp who is quickly establishing himself as one of London's most quirky DJs and JFK PoP and Jodie Dillon with their DEFINITION debut.
Joining our guests will be residents Foxx and Montana Cruz with a back to back set that promises to be a pulsating track blender filled with underground sounds. Our guests and residents have been making their names known widely, impressing and playing with the likes of Steve Lawler, Troy Pierce, Tiefschwartz, Christian Burkhardt, and Timo Maas to name a few and have now become a synonym for fantastic electronic music and the foundation to Definition's success. Definition parties have featured so far guests including Tim Sheridan, Chris Woodward, Jozif, DeadEcho, and for this outing we have something very special lined-up with a truly diverse and exciting team of residents and guests chosen for your dancing pleasure.
The line up chosen for this session takes into consideration the quality and depth presently existent in a variety of electronic music genres and sub-categories. Focusing on the brilliance and excellence of nu disco, tech and deep house but always finding time and space for introducing new and pioneering sounds... and as far as vibes are concerned...we are a warm atmosphere party consisting of a friendly-attitude crowd.
So there you have it. Definition is back at The Horse and Groom and we’re going to party just the way we like to with a superb night of musical entertainment featuring only the freshest, sexiest and downright fiercest music around. With a line-up like this you just know it’s going to rock. Let’s not forget the stylish and lively crowd too, who like dress up to get down and party like there’s no tomorrow. Join us at this legendary venue as we prepare to dance till dawn and have a good time!
