Nonclassical returns to XOYO in April with Penderecki's 'Threnody' (an
experiment in sound for 24 violins 10 violas 10 cellos and 8 double
basses) Gyorgy Ligeti's 'Lux Aeterna' for 16 singers (featured in
Kubrick's 2001: A Space Odyssey) and 'Peaux' from Pleaides by Iannis
Xenakis (scored for six players and 44 drums) alongside
Nonclassical/Clean Bandit DJ sets and culminating in a 2 hour headline
set from Alex Smoke.
