  • d.ISFUn.KTION is back. After nearly 3 years, Danielle Nicole, founder of d.ISFUn.KTION, teams up with Brad Miller (Push The Night) for a daytime soiree at Local West's newest outdoor space. The open aired venue boasts 2 full service bars, benches, lounges and tables all beneath a charming wisteria overhang; don't worry, there's plenty of room for dancing. Deep and tech house tunes will be provided by hosts Danielle Nicole and Brad Miller, along with NYC veterans Samsara (Global Frequencies), Gil K (NOSI Music) and Dave Turk & Pasquale (Keep It Movin'). With custom sound by NYEX and FREE admission encouraging you to come and go as you please, be sure to conserve your energy as this one will be going LATE! Danielle Nicole: Danielle Nicole is a NYC based DJ and electronic music producer known for her deep, groovy, stripped down techno style. Since the start of her career in 2005, Danielle has not only toured North America, but has traveled to cities in Europe, Africa, South America and the Middle East to play for dance music lovers. Once established as a DJ, the native New Yorker and life long musician tried her talents in the studio. Since releasing her first EP in 2008, Danielle has released records on Frequenza, Neurotraxx, Minitec Series, IRMA, Sex Panda, TKC Music, NOSI Music, Land of Voodo and Hush Recordings, been charted on Beatport's Top 100 and remixed power house producers such as D-Unity and Alex D'elia & Nihil Young. Danielle's next EP will be released on Klectik Records (Detroit/Chicago) and feature remixes from Jason Patrick (Klectick) and Francesco Assenza (Sleep Is Commercial). Brad Miller: Brad Miller is one to watch lately. Known for his distinctively deep and driving style of house, techno, and progressive his show "Push The Night" recently broke the Top 50 most popular podcasts on iTunes. Having shared the decks with artists such as Gui Boratto, Sasha, Chris Liebing, Robert Babicz, Danny Howells and Mauro Picotto, he has become a mainstay at some of the world's most prominent clubs including Pacha, Crobar, Webster Hall, Cielo, and Sullivan Room. With a new residency for his own headlining Push The Night event series in New York and a momentum building around the world, Brad Miller is at the forefront of the new generation for DJs. Samsara: Regarded as one of NYC's premier Electronic Deejay Duo's, brothers Corey and Ryan Negrin, known together as SAMSARA have been extremely busy lighting up Manhattan's most prestigious dance floors for over 15 years. Pulling from a variety of different influences, SAMSARA moves and educates every crowd they encounter with their ability to effortlessly cross multiple genres within a set. SAMSARA's ability to properly open, keep, and close a room has gained them enormous respect from the NYC dance music community. Whether headlining a night or opening for artist such as Sasha, Nick Warren, Jody Wisternoff, Nick Curly, Hernan Cattaneo, Desyn Masiello, Stacey Pullen, Joris Voorn, Sultan, Luke Fair, Behrouz, Sebastian Leger, Evil Eddie Richards, Felix the House Cat, Clive Henry, Matthias Tanzmann, UMEK, D: Fuse and Derrick May among many others, to renown dance music recording artist Nadia Ali, they never disappoint. Gil K: NOSI Music is reaching the crowds of discerning clubbers and music enthusiasts with its inclusive approach. Welcoming dancers and listeners to its events and releases worldwide. Founded in 2006 by NY-based DJ & producer Gil Kuruneri. NOSI Music was born from the energy of music, travel and excitement. Just like a newborn, the conception of the label was over nine months, spanning an impromptu DJ tour of Central America. Gil has taken that excitement and transferred it into an idea: reach out to talent and bring it to the masses. His vision is an amalgam of design, music and lifestyle. NOSI Music is an open source in the new paradigm of music and music labels; a company for creative relationships coupled with strong visions of the future. Dave Turk & Pasquale: KEEP IT MOVIN' was started by a group of friends who wanted to create a party that would provide a night of good music, a lot of dancing and great times for club-goers. The concept of the party was created with the idea that we don't care if you bring 2000 people or if you bring 1 person its about the music and the vibe. With that in mind we decided to bring in international as well as domestic talent but still allow the party to be FREE. We wanted to give back Great Music to the fans of NYC! With our monthly Theme Parties and our local and international special guests we are trying to bring passion back into New York City Nightlife.
