Global Village Productions is an Event Decor and Design Studio. Our services cover a comprehensive creative portfolio ranging from conceptual decor design to themed events.
The Global Village creator and director, Jason Pugh, began in Johannesburg in the mid nineties with more than just a mobile disco company, but with a dream and a passion to create a concept of creative events. Global Village then became Global Village Promotions, and hosted and promoted a broad range of music and arts events. Global Village began as a studio project aiming to pull together talented artists and musicians from different communities to innovate events design and artistic development.
In 2007, Global Village found a new home in London. London, the world's very own global village, gave us a rich source for recruiting new and vibrant artists and designers. It also provided a great platform to showcase our innovations in new decor concepts and ideas. We have since nurtured a great relationship with various highly talented artists in their chosen fields, from projection artists to designers. As permanent in house designers for many event producers and promoters, we have contributed to the growth and success of numerous event concepts.
Having developed partnerships with other productions and projects such as Gaiasphere, Freakadelic Psycraftz and The Global ReAnimate Project, we continue to grow in our dedicated journey to evolve as artists and in production design. We explore new avenues in floating structural design, stretch sets, lighting, multimedia, fully immersed Ultra Violet scenery and animation/illustration.

Saviez-vous que les organes et structures internes de votre corps sont en perpétuel mouvement ? Outre le pompage du cœur ou le péristaltisme des intestins, les organes bougent les uns par rapport aux autres en mouvement de dissociation, comme le font les engrenages d’une horloge. En ostéopathie, on appelle ce mouvement « le mouvement respiratoire primaire » ou MRP. Par la palpation, on peut sentir ces mouvements à la surface du corps. La présence du mouvement est un indicateur de santé. Lorsqu’une zone est bloquée, le sang y circule moins bien, des nerfs y sont comprimés et des symptômes de douleur, de déséquilibre ou de maladie apparaissent.
Nous avons tous ces mouvements en nous et pourtant trop peu de gens en sont conscients. Cet atelier a pour objectif de vous présenter différents mouvements du MRP et de vous les faire sentir. Workshop on the palpation of the body’s intrinsic movement.
Did you know your body’s internal organs and structures are in perpetual movement? Aside from the heart pumping or the intestines’ peristalsis, organs move against the others in a dissociation movement, working like a clock’s mechanisms. Osteopathy calls this movement “Primary Respiratory Mechanism” or PRM. Through palpation, we can feel these movements on the body’s surface. Movement is an indicator of health. When a zone is blocked, blood does not circulate as well, nerves are pinched and symptoms of pain, imbalance or disease appear.
We each have these movements within, yet too few of us are aware of them. This workshop’s goal is to showcase various PRM movements and allow you to feel them. You will have the chance of palpating several organs from different people to explore various realities. Be ready to be touched and to touch others.
