Ampt Productions are proud to be bringing back to Brisbane one of the leaders of the Breaks/Tech-Funk scenes Meat Katie. After his amazing performance to a capacity crowd at the Shamrock last year we are all looking forward to seeing him rock this place once more.
This time joining Mark will be 2 very special guests: Pioneer of the UK Breaks scene Lee Coombs and one of Australia’s leading Dj/producers Jono Fernandez.
Taking over 3 rooms of the Step Inn will allow the Ampt productions to once again show why they are the leaders in event production, lighting and theming in Brisbane. This upcoming show is set to once again raise the standards of production in Brisbane and will be a showcase of Ampt’s original concepts and creative design. Adding to this will be a line-up of some of Queensland’s most talented Dj’s and you have a party that is not to be missed.

Meat Katie (Lot 49/UK)
Whether it’s at his well-known residency at London’s Fabric, or through his numerous genre-busting 12” releases, his well respected record label Lot 49, or even his much-loved Bedrock Breaks and Destination Australia 002 compilations, UK born and bred Meat Katie (aka Mark Pember) has never been one to follow the rules. And after the success of his third full-length LP ‘Vibr ator’, Pember continues to take his unique slant on dance music to a whole new level.
Lee Coombs (Adrift/Thrust Recordings/UK)
Lee Coombs kick-started his DJing career in the late 80’s, and by ’91 he had gone on to found Paradise Records, Pumpin Vinyl and the acclaimed cult electro Zoid and Thrust series before moving to London where he was taken into the fold, his acid-angled productions giving him a float all of his own. His DJ sets which often see him down at Fabric and Bugged Out! or flying over to New York’s Vinyl and LA’s Spundae club, reflect his musical milieu with influences colliding from all directions.
