For our 3rd installment of the summer season we are travelling just few decades ahead from the 20’s to immerse ourselves on the origin of Leading Astray’s soul: The Hippy golden years, where freedom was finally a reality for a lot of people all over the world after many years of wars and acid was in da house ;-) With this theme on don’t expect an acid house party though, as usual we will be delivering the best underground techno the only way we know: making you shaking your ass on the dancefloor like a nutter. Our guest djs, Kernel Key, Pep Rù & B2B Cesare Panaccione will let you breathless trying to keep up with their filthy bass lines and groovy beats whilst our residents Elek-Fun & L Tete will make sure you have to bin your dancing shoes by the end of the party! Kernel Key was born in Naples. He has his first approach with the music when at the age of 10 his father gave him his first piano keyboard. He grew listening to Bob Marley, Pink Floyd, The Doors, Dire Straits. But when in 1994 he listened to for the first time to a Techno tape from Derrick May, he had directly a big passion for Techno Detroit. So he started playing with his first vinyls, knowing labels as Metroplex, Underground Resistance, Transmat, Axis, M-Plant, and following DJ\\Producers like Jeff Mills, Robert Hood, Kenny Larkin, Mike Banks. At the age of 20, he started playing live in most of his hometown clubs, and in january of 1997 he had the honour to play with Damon Wild, getting big hugs from the crowd. For a period of time, he abandoned the Techno scene to learn some Jazz music, but after some years, obsessed by the Techno music, he started studying seriously electronic music production, obtaining the degree of Sound Engineer. On 2011 he started his electronic carreer as Producer, releasing on many international labels, but the turning come firstly with the "First Phase" on MKT rec. with the track "Waiting For Cocktail", played by many international DJs and climbing the Top Techno Chart at 12th place on Beatport. Then, he affermed his style with the "I Would EP" on Popof's main label Form with the track "Modular Key", overplayed by most of the biggest DJs in the Techno scene and climbing the Techno Chart at 16th position. Him ended the year with the best success with EP in collaboration with Sebastian Leger "Pass It On." On 2012 is started with gigs around the world and great releases on Agile with Uto Karem, KD Music, Octopus Recordings and Definitive Recordings.
