Natalie Conway - Vox
Australia’s Queen of Female Soundsystem Vocalists, Natalie has worked with her band Cissy Strut at venues all over Australia. Her beauty and talent are constantly in demand from DJ’s through to performing bands and session producers. This girl is going places yet for now Gelato are happy to hang onto her pantyhose!
Rich Sanford - Synths & Guitar
Musical Director and Keyboardist for Delta Goodrem, Richard also runs a successful studio in Sydney responsible for many remixes that you are listening to today – Diamond Cut. He lends his awesome talents to this brigade on Synths, Guitar and Vox duties.
Joshua ‘J Man’ Beagley - Dee Jay
The owner of Sydney Label One Stop Funk Shop and the brains behind 90’s Glamour band Swoop and today’s club dynamos Fatback 4 way, Professor Groove & The Booty Affair and Confection, this time the J Man lends his DJ skills to Gelato, providing a bed of drums and bass for the others to consummate on!
Michael Di Francesco - Synths and Bass
One of Sydney’s most respected musicians, producers and performers, Michael’s full time gig is with Modular artists Van She and Van She Technologic. He has also written and produced tracks for Ladyhawke, Sneaky Sound System and the recent smash for Anna Lunoe. This is the ‘fun’ gig that he plays (when available) as some of his closest friends are also in the band. Expect to see him on Bass and Synth bass now and again!
Maurice ‘Ze German’ Suckau - Bass & Guitar
Probably one of the most in demand bass players in Australia right now. Ze German has worked with everyone from Delta Goodrem through to Rikki Lee and most high profile bands around Sydney. Sometimes, he forgets and plays Bass like his guitar and when he does play guitar his guitar work is amazing.
Antonio ‘Tone De Fresh’ Chiappetta - Percussion, Samples & Rhymes
He is the front person of Australia’s Festival Favourites King Farook and has just finished his inaugural original album under the moniker Tone de Fresh, which is causing serious stirs in serious circles. He has played Drums for everyone from Pnau through to Rikki Lee and with Gelato he gets to stand up and party using his Percussion Sampler and Rhymes.
