After a brief sabbatical, This Is Not Happening is back with a monthly slot at the Horse & Groom - showcasing the best underground DJs as well as locally sourced talent. A DJ's night where the music does the talking.
This time we've invited Modsleep, our French friend who has released on esteemed disco label Sleazy Beats Recordings (http://www.phonicarecords.com/product/view/100707) and is an excellent DJ to boot.
This Is Not Happening DJs will be playing their usual blend of House/Techno/Disco, whilst warm-up duties go to close friends and TINH punters Frankie Aglow, Unisex and Carlosi.
This Is Not Happening (www.this-is-not-happening.com) is a London-based club night/website dedicated to pushing underground dance music. For the past 3 years, TINH has championed upcoming talent - giving UK debuts to Christopher Rau & Dionne from Smallville, Makam, Le Loup, Dubbyman and Ernie, as well as hosting names such as Bliq, BLM, Wolf Music, Fudge Fingas and Trus'Me. Alongside the club night runs the TINH website - a blog showcasing new, underground talent, forgotten gems from the past, and a regular podcast series with input from the likes of Scott Ferguson, Jay Simon, Dockside Records and DJ Speculator to name a few.
TINH's latest exciting venture is the launch of its own record label - with the first release set to feature original music from hotly tipped french duo Arcarsenal. Stay tuned for more info!
