We think that Brighton needs something different, something small, something intimate, and most importantly, something that lets you listen to deep house music all night long.
Small Spaces was created to provide that something...
As the name suggests, our venues will be kept small with capacities of no more than 120 people. Our parties won't be held in clubs - they'll be in small, quirky venues, which you wouldn't normally expect to be partying in. For us, that's half the battle won.
The other half is, of course, the music... We're very particular about the music we like, and programming DJs to fit into this policy is our no.1 priority.
Our guest for the first party is a gentleman who goes by the name of Ethyl...
If any of you were lucky enough to catch his set at the recent Disco Deviant rooftop party, you will know what all the fuss is about. Ethyl is a sublime producer of deep house music and an equally adept DJ, which is demonstrated every time we hear him play. Ethyl has had a string of top-drawer releases on highly respected deep house labels such as Freerange, Tsuba & Quintessentials, plus some select remixes, including a stand-out effort on Brighton's own Black Key Records.

None of the music would be enjoyed properly unless it was played on a decent system, so rest assured we'll be proving that too.
As the venue is small, we're running this party as a ticket only affair, so you'll need to grab yours in advance. We're keeping the price down as much as possible, so £5 is all you'll need to pay.

Final point - we don't think we're cool, we're not interested in people with attitudes and we don't care who looks the best... we just want to party to decent house music, simple as that.
