Some philosophers predicts the longevity to everything, that grows slowly. BBR doesn’t want to disprove this rule for the all global processes, but can vouch completely for the «Grow» project, which gives the fast push for the young and talented DJ-s with best career perspectives.
On the 19th of October, the DJ stand will be held by Kharkov citizens from Minianimal project, the Slawdance residents (Krysha mira), Z-people actionists, well-known in the club sphere of their native town (residents of Afrika, Party Bar Dom). The guys have already performed in BBR last year and the energy of the leading Kyiv dancepol , without fail, had inspired them for the new interesting works.
Minianimal - is a quite young project, if we will start its history from the first live set - the heating before the SCSI-9 performance, in 2008. But we simply can’t say, that Alexander Ajzatskiy and Alezander Tereschenko are the greenhorns. Behind – there is a 10-years working experience in the music sphere, and by the way – not on the second roles. Aside from the studio recordings and coming from D’n’B to house music, they had an active promo work. After they organized the numerous of successful events for the Kharkov «Afrika» club, the guys got the art-manager positions, and become connected with the sets of Dusty Kid, Stephan Bodzin, Martin Eyerer, Kanio, Daso Franke, Spy.der, Helga and other famous artist. Collecting the experience in one box, and founding the priority – to make the original electronic sound, with notes of vocal, jazz, pop, funk and live instrumental musicians has given the Minianimal the growing start, following the law of nature.
The meet with Anton Kybikov after the above mentioned SCSI-9 performance have forced guys to the Moscow «Solyanka», on one of its cultic parties NU GRAVITY. Some of Moscow audience have found there sound very similar to SCSI-9, others – noticed the specific original wave. But today, there is no doubt, that the duet is extraordinary in all ways, from the idea of the track to its play during the set with vocalist – Nastya K – shows their passion to the experiments and the gravity to surprise. Just look at those July performance at Kharkov club Opium, where the Minanimal’s live set was diversified by the drums and the trumpet. The duet is not running over the weighty labels, most of all trying to preserve the authenticity, but although worked successfully with Disclosure project (ENG) , Italian Vida Records and Ukrainian High-Jack.
On the 19th of October, on the after party of the second «Grow» event, the Moscow Slowdance colleague – Dzen will come, who is the resident of cultic «Vanilla Ninja» and «Krysha mira». What can make the growth faster, than the authoritative support and the place over the BBR’s DJ stand…
