She condenses all the most innovative and exciting parties, scenes, movements, subcultures and music into one frenetic curly haired whirlwind of DJ. Sneaking into the Metalheadz Sessions at The Blue Note at age just 14, it was here that she caught the bug for the beat... and the bass. She’s never looked back since, going on to DJ at some of the biggest venues & festivals around the world and running the club night and label Batty Bass. DJing at a mulletover after-hours session in Shoreditch in 2003, Hannah was spotted by high-octane east-end institution Trailer Trash’s head honcho Mikki Most. She was signed up instantly as a resident. Her star has been on the rise ever since, rocking dancefloors all over the world for hugely respected parties like Bugged Out, The Warehouse Project, Fabric, Ibiza’s Amnesia, Glastonbury, The Arches in Glasgow, Serbia’s notorious Exit Festival as well as Japan and Australia. Hannah is equally at home stealing the show in big rooms and festivals as she is capturing hearts in grimy basements and warehouse raves in the small hours; her groundbreaking DJ sets showcase a breathtaking array of musical offerings from the early bleeps of house music through to all the best bits of classic and upfront techno, house and future bass...woven with HH magic. In 2006 Hannah started Batty Bass as a vehicle to pursue the more eclectic side of her musical repertoire alongside long-time collaborator and friend Mama. Batty Bass subsequently manifested itself as a label in 2008, showcasing the incredible artists that have graced the stage of the club. Batty Bass has since become something of a monster. Continuously mobbed bi-monthly parties at The Star of Bethnal Green described by Time Out as "one of London's finest clubs… a must-do on the UK's club calendar”, have also given rise to a second residency at XOYO, showcasing the live side to the night and the label on a larger scale. Like all the best DJ talents Hannah has turned her dancefloor expertise into studio magicianry. She released her first track Banshee in 2008 to critical acclaim – picking up plays on specialists shows on Radio One & Kiss FM - and has since sprinkled remix goldust on the likes of Yo Majesty, Spektrum & Jahcoozi to name a few. A year of reflection, influences and honing her studio skills, in Berlin in 2010, it was with her incredible Paris Acid Ball release last year that Hannah fully broke through as a producer. Pricking up the ears of all and sundry, PAB crossed dancefloors and genres picking up love and plays from corners as diverse as DJ Hell, Ellen Allien, Jesse Rose, Heidi, Danny Rampling & Terry Farley along the way. Batty Bass, the record label - iDJ’s label of the month back in March this year - now 8 releases in has seen output from Hannah herself alongside POSH the Prince, Jahcoozi and Mama. BB released their first long player at the start of the year, which picked up plaudits far and wide. Hannah's remix of POSH! caught the attention of a Mr DJ Hell, who asked Hannah to remix his ‘I Prefer Women To Men Anyway’. Listen to this track and you hear why Hannah is being lauded as being at the top of her game right now. A hugely popular podcast has since given birth to Batty Bass Radio, soon to be recorded @ Red Bull studios and syndicated via Red Bull to over 15 million listeners worldwide. His first contact with the electronic music movement was in 1996, initiating the craft of dj'ing 3 years later. His first events were in casual friends' parties, but he quickly started to play in some clubs and parties. His motto is to always be up to date with the new dance music styles and tendencies, so that you know that when you listen to a Dj Kaesar set you will always get something new, fresh and intelligent, that will interact and appeal to the public.Along with his dj work, Kaesar has been spending some major time in the studio, producing his own music so he can soon present is new project, side be side with his childhood friend; together they are trying to create and show new ideas intimately connected to the minimal techno music genre and thru this sonorities, they are trying to take the “maximum out of the minimum.” ; this new project is called “MINIMETRIK” and will soon blast the dance floors all over the world. His solo project “Kaesar” is already bearing ripe fruits, his first music releases have been edited in digital format, and vinyl print on labels like the Cyborg Crew Records, Benthic Records and Inminimax Records. Some of his future releases will be edited by Wolf Musik, Midi Sounds Records, Dub Alliance, etc. With the electronic music’s evolution and his contact with new music styles, the need to open a sub-label of the big Open Up records came to scene and Kaesar received an invitation from his colleague and big friend Pedro Seph to create the "Beluga Sounds” label, where its first releases saw the light of the day at the end of the Summer of 2008. This project is not only a record label but also a quality event promoter, always in the lookout for new musical tendencies.During this year, along with the European soccer championship in Switzerland, Kaesar was invited to musically represent Portugal at radio eleven, where he was also interviewed live.In the same Summer of 2008, one of the biggest world music festivals “Boom Festival” invited Kaesar to play at the alternative stage, side by side with giant names like Kanio and Straightflash. Due to his massive performance there, he received several invitations to play outside the country in places like Israel, Germany and France and so his tour to places like Tel Aviv, Jerusalem, Berlin, Tubingen and Paris soon became a reality. After a big summer full of important events and professional achievements, Kaesar was invited for several magazine interviews, a recognition of his importance in the music scene. He interviewed for magazines like DanceClub and Visions Mag and for radio stations like Antena 3, Radio Oestes, Radio Oxigenio and for the well-known national TV show Dance TV, from the Sic Radical national TV station. In 2009, Kaesar continued to play all over the country and he is fully booked almost all year round. He also continues to be an important presence in the big electronic music summer festivals, again having played in the 2009 edition of Freedom Festival, Sinergia, Blissfull and continued to produce his own music, with great feedback from the public and the record labels, in general. In the year of 2009, Kaesar plans to open his own label “Lucky Dice” and to join forces with four other big national music producers (Mikalogic, Nuno Ramos, Ruca and Pedro Zoy). They are giving birth to a new concept and a new form of partnership. This gathering is called the Dub Alliance and the aim is for them to be able to grow together and to support each other musically, so they can all evolve and learn, as well as create a new electronic music concept; in 2009 Kaesar was also invited to integrate the booking team of the world renowned Boom Festival.Nowadays, Kaesar defines himself as a Techno music artist, with many House influences. Recurring to the use of the old detroid chords, those are the sonorities that better define this Dj.From one of his dj sets, you can always count on innovation and for sure, you will assist to a very creative, intelligent set, filled with fat grooves and sexy beats... http://www.beatport.com/artist/kaesar/74806 http://soundcloud.com/kaesar http://www.youtube.com/user/djKaesar XXX RAPHAEL MELLO [ EGG LONDON / SO UP MUSIK ] Raphael Mello has been absorbing music since he started to play the drums at the age of 12, through to the moment when he was confronted with a pair of decks, and continuing to the day when he started his career as a professional DJ in the year 2000.In 2003 Raphael moved to Curitiba (South Brazil) where he continued to increase his skills until he won the Disturbs Award, as South Revelation DJ, in 2004.
