Connect Four was started in 2007 as an outlet for a different side of dance music than its older sister Tic Tac Toe. Focusing on house, deep house and a soft melodic tech house sound, the label has chosen its releases carefully over the years, but is now as active as ever. Honing a deeper take on electronica with every release, names like James Teej, Dub Taylor and Liapin aka Afrilounge have all released well-received EPs on the imprint, whilst new names are being A&Red by label head Lars Gregers on a constant basis.
Gartenhaus is an independent deep house record label, founded in 2011. "Our label is like a garden, we grow together with our music, helping producers get a fair deal in a changing music business. We are always connected to the underground, never forgetting our roots. Our aim is not to get rich and we’re also not going to become famous in the mainstream. We love deep house and we’ll never sell out – we do this because it’s our passion."
