Woodlawn (Two Circles Records/HEATATL) :: As one half of Detroit-founded Two Circles Records, Matt Wooddy has helped construct a niche gathering of dance music enthusiasts in his southern home of Atlanta. With a mindful nod to the ways of house music in generations past, Matt comes to the public with transitional noms de plume to help translate his musical upbringing. For the first five years of Heat Promotions' existence, Matt DJed under his Inferno moniker, playing everything from weekly residencies in Midtown Atlanta to jet-setting to acclaimed nights in continental cities. His newest venture, appropriately named Woodlawn, helps him focus more on the direction that house and techno has taken over the course of the last three decades. In an age of digital communication and automatic audio transmissions, Matt continues to rely on patient methods of DJing to convey his overall message in sound.
REKchampa (Human DNA/Straight Edge Punk) :: REKchampa is an escaped research chemical bound to human flesh and pulsating with the rhythms of night time dampness. We chose him because we feel that he has alot to say about our current state of fruition and will ultimately guide us further to our goal of complete DNA unity as the night progresses. Expect him to release a dove into the crowd as a symbol of his passion for our heads.
Broodlings (Embarassed/Plate Jealousy Makers) :: Broodlings that do not actually brood. Lings that actually brew. And a brew that actually works are all things we considered when choosing this fine combination of pastoral mischeif and urban malice. Really tho, they are nice guys and will hold our hands if the pace of the night is too boring. However, that can never happen and the 'Lings are more than just a precaution that it never happens. In fact, they are making it happen in better ways right now and will release a projection of pulsating faith on the eve of our destiny.
Resident Dj Cc is nothing but an oyster trapped in an unshuckable yet delictable shell. He has already traded his pearl in for morsels of dank sonic gyration. He welcomes you.
