After our last amazing guest Jeremy Underground Paris (My Love Is Underground) smashed Know The Way to bits in Dec we now present you with the Scottish debut of the mighty Fabio Monesi from Wilson Records!!
FABIO MONESI
This young Italian, Owner of Wilson Records & B4Beat Party, has a real passion for the deep house sounds of Detroit & Chicago so we knew he'd fit perfectly with our night. Playing strictly with vinyl only, Fabio is not afraid to experiment and add flair to to his sets like old school DJ's from the past, mixing up a storm of current and classic House sounds!
His maniacal obsession for analogue machines characterise his productions which are permeated with an old school aura. His first track "All Star" was released on the American label " House Sound Recording", managed by Nicholas and Simoncino (two names that need no introduction) who immediately saw his potential. Fabio then went on to set up his own label called Wilson Records which in the space of three releases (featuring tracks from house heavyweights such as Alex Agore, Washerman, Deymare, Kastil and himself) has become one of the hottest underground labels around with every release selling out within days!
The huge success of his label has left fabio a busy man with a whole host releases and remixes on labels such as Skylax, Wilson, Deso, and Albion plus many DJ appearances at some of the best underground clubs in the world! We can't wait to see him do his thing is such an intimate venue and we just know he's gonna bring the vibes and rock the place!!
REBECCA VASMANT
First and foremost Rebecca Vasmant has a deep obsession with music and sound and from a young age has always been interested in how sound works. This obsession has lead onto becoming one of the most cutting edge Djs around playing all genres of music within sets. Techno, House, Jazz, Soul, Funk, Disco, Brazillian, Samba, Bossa, Folk and Electronic Soul are all predominent in her sets, Finding a way to bring her love of both electronic and live music onto the dancefloor. Known for being extremely credible and unique, Rebecca has made a huge blast onto the scene in the last five years.
Having headlined many Ministry of Sound World more underground World tours as the only female resident in over 15 years already. Brazil, Nicaragua, India, Dubai, Bulgaria, Estonai, France, Spain, Bosnia, Istanbul, Latvia, and Austria already under her belt and with Mexico and Brazil to come, Being the first female World Tour Resident for Ministry Of Sound and also being resident for Cabret Volataire Edinburgh and having played at places like We Love Space Ibiza, Zoo Project Ibiza, Back To Basics Leeds, We Love Sankeys Manchester, The Arches Glasgow, Sub Club Glasgow, Soulist Soundsystem Paris, Turnmills London, Ministry Of Sound London, East Village Shoredich, Public Life London and Pacha London.
Playing along sides the likes of Shit Robot, Dj Format, X-press 2, SLAM, Lars Sandberg, Billy Nasty, Tommy Four Seven, Erol Alkin, Mylo, Riva Starr, Chris Harris, Jo Mills, Dj Falcon, Steve Mantorvani (italy) ,Gigi Barocco, Paul Oakenfold, Joey Negro,Filterheadz, Max Herbert, Tania Von Pear, Luciano, Larry Tee, Sebastien Leger, and Vicky Devine to name a few, Rebecca is also set to line up alongside many more...
As a Producer Rebecca has had releases on labels such as Universal Music, Amour recordings and various others and is currently working on a first album due to drop late 2012, collaborating with some of the best names in the underground house and techno scene as well as working on various live Jazz projects under her second alias which will see her name grow even further.

JAMES JOHNSTON (No Matter What/4lux/City Fly)
James Johnston's passion for deep house and the classic house sound has seen him emerge as one of the most exciting producers at the forefront of the current underground house scene. As well as releasing music on many respected labels he also co-runs the mighty No Matter What with fellow house head Alex Agore; a label which has quickly become buy on sight with the last two vinyl releases, both featuring James, hitting the NO.1 spot in the Juno house chart.
James is also an in-demand DJ and sets are an education in how house should sound and be played, showcasing his ability in joining the dots between the classic sounds that are synonymous with Detroit Techno, Chicago House and New Jersey Garage – fusing a cross-pollination of sounds complete with an ear open to the future...
