Get busy, get nasty, get dirty!! RSVP to [email protected] for free entry. ::: Justin Miller (Have a Killer Time / DFA) Justin Miller is a quintessential New York City DJ. Mixing the classically cool with the always-cool and the brand new, he’s a selector whose tastes spread across best of techno, deep house, and disco new and old. Part of that diversity likely comes from his tenure as DFA Records assistant label manager and sole employee for seven years, guiding the seminal NYC label through one of its most fruitful periods. With artists including LCD Soundsystem, The Juan MacLean, Hercules & Love Affair, Still Going, Benoit & Sergio, Runaway, Canyons and Walter Jones, a diverse crew of disco-leaning artists, Miller helped to establish the best of the best in modern dance music as part one of its most respected and influential imprints. Having recently left DFA to start his own label HAKT Recordings, the new imprint will see releases from like-minded artists as well as debut productions from the man himself, as he begins to focus more on his own career after helming one of the most formidable juggernauts in dance music for almost a decade. :: Cameo Culture (No. 19 Music) From Mark E to Thom Yorke, Cameo Culture's influences spawn poignant sole-slapping beats. An Australian-native, Dave Robertson walks the streets of Brooklyn with a surfboard under one arm. 2012 saw the release of his debut EP 'Night Swimming' on the No.19 label, and after joining the No.19 showcase circuit, Cameo Culture play alongside Nitin and Art Department in New York City in March and June. Releases by his previous band, soho808 - under labels such as No.19, Dikso and Wurst - showcased what has been described as 'a mature take on the disco paradigm'. Cameo Culture represents an exploration into the organic side of dance music. ::: Harry Bennett (CCC) An integral cog in the CCC machine, Harry Bennett is a DJ's DJ, an avid music curator and a veteran decks worker. Harry's mixing style shows off the DJ as telepath, psychically stirring tracks together in mind-bending ways that make the room come alive. He has been responsible for producing collections such the eclectic "Anthology of American Acid House" (CCC) and his personal edits of r&b and dance classics. Harry's house is our house, and he's no stranger to any of it. ::: Night Plane (Soul Clap Records / CCC) William Rauscher is Night Plane. He is watched over by the god Apollo. Night Plane is at the warm, gooey center of CCC, together with his creative partner Harry Bennett. His live set is a potent brew of slow-mo disco, minimal house, indie vibes and Madchester madness. The eminent DJ duo Soul Clap launched their eponymous record label in fall 2012 with Night Plane's "Heartbeat" EP that featured his collab with Harry Bennett, a deep house cover of Pavement's "Gold Soundz." Downstairs: The S U B D I V I S I O N crew are hosting Eric Cloutier in the basement, feel free to wander between floors all night!
