Never ones to conform to expectation, A Night With... bring something a bit different for the first in the series of A Day With… Taking place on the May bank holiday, A Day With... will be a label takeover from Ellen Allien’s landmark imprint, BPITCH Control, from the afternoon all the way into the night.
Since its conception in 1999, rising up from the bristling techno Mecca of Berlin, BPITCH Control has rightly become widely regarded as a seal of quality within the dance music community, responsible for championing and nurturing some of the best local and global talents. Reaching across boundaries and bringing in elements of house, techno, IDM and pop to create a polyphonic sound that defies labeling BPITCH Control has brought us household names such as Paul Kalkbrenner, Ben Klock and Modeselektor, whilst continually exhibiting a unerring dedication to supporting breakthrough acts such as System of Survival and Dillon.
Fast-forward over a decade in Berlin and BPITCH Control has become synonymous with one of the most forward-thinking and respected clubbing cities in the world, as well as arranging world-renowned showcases in major cities across the globe. With A Day With.. will offer the chance to have the pleasure of experiencing everything the label represent in an incredibly intimate surrounding, just the way they intended. With a sprawling discography and myriad influences, expect to hear everything modern electronica has to offer and much more from BPITCH Control this May. Full line-up to be announced at a later date.
