  • Dusted welcome you to join us and celebrate our birthday at Medicine Bar. We celebrate 16 years since it's birth. The idea orignally born from Karl Crook in 1997 became one of the Northeast's most successful club nights. to briefly look back on it's history the legendary Purple Onion now the Medicine Bar, Dusted was the first night to set up and establish the Purple Onion as a club and held the reigns for 8 glorious years before a 2 year residency at The CornerHouse and Rouge. Dusted policy was not about the guest DJ but establishing a solid resident base and the guest was the icing on the cake. The original Dusted residents have excelled in all aspects with Silky and Suzee X now playing out Internationally as well as releasing tracks, Karl Frampton setting us his Record label and Djing around Europe while Pete Smith resident for Sankeys along with several of his tracks being released and fore fronting Dusted in Manchester the launch for this being 16th February. Dusted's Birthday is a celebration of all the residents past and and present and guests who made the night such a huge success. We at Dusted would like to personally thank all those clubbers who have supported us throughout 2012 and the current residents for all thier hard work this last 12 months since its relaunch. Howard Sessions http://soundcloud.com/howardsessions A producer and dj from the valley, been addicted to synths, drum machine tweaking and music production since the age of 13. Howard Sessions has releases on Kolour, 3am, Lost My Dog, Stripped, Re:Tweak Records & Countdown 2012, a new label based out of Leeds, UK, with releases out from Mata, Mike Richardson from Manchester's Unity FM, Outcross records boss Miguel Campbell and Bops artists Bopstag, along with Leeds' Al.B.Allwright, Savouir Faire Musique, Something Different, i!Records and some secret projects too..Expect to hear a lot more from Howard Sessions in 2013 Vince Tyler Lemonsoul beats Although a newcomer to the scene of music production labels Vince Tyler is no stranger to the world of music. For well over twenty years Vince has been in and around the music scene, spending some eighteen years as a DJ. The North-east of England was the starting point spreading to the far continent of Australia and latterly Europe in main land Spain and the surrounding islands. Sasha, Digweed and Carl Cox provided the early influences in Vince’s musical career as he spun his way around the Antipodes and then into mainland Europe Vince soon gained a reputation as a first-class DJ, with residency at Corner House in Middlesbrough, UK, Shark Bar in Sydney Australia and Bananas, Tokyo Joes and Zambesia in Spain. Playing all genres but specialised in the ‘house scene’, particularly French House and disco. In the nineties with a varied taste in music Vince would try and create a fusion of all the genre in a mix that would set him apart from the usual DJ scene. The nineties saw Vince move into studio with his Roland 505 and Yamaha SP200 sampler creating his own style. After a ten year lapse Vince returns to the studio scene producing tracks with a unique Tech house style but with an added twist as Vince adds his own flavour in an attempt to produce a brand that will launch him back on to the studio music production scene. Such is Vince’s unique style those who listen to his work recognise that it is his work and this has attracted thousands of hits on his uploads to Soundcloud. Producing under the name of Vince Tyler – Lemon Soul it is a name to be noted and, perhaps more importantly to be listened to! Al Bradley A welcome back for Al after a storming night in december to support howard, here at Dusted we are all strong supporters of the label, we welcome Al Bradley for another stint. celebrating 10 years of 3AM As label manager & A&R, Al Bradley has been involved with house music (either on the dancefloor or behind the decks) for the last 20 years, kicking things off with visits to The Hacienda in his hometown of Manchester in the late 80’s & moving through the amazing northern club scene over the following years.
