We've been craving to do something like this for a longtime in terms that we wanted to have a proper Techno Party. Techno is our first ever love and now we have finally found the spot to host it we are talking about the same venue that has hosted artists the caliber of Derrick May, Dj T1000 and many more and yes you are right... we are talking about the Infamous Rhythm Factory the most underground cosy techno venue in London and we are sure you are going to love this place giving you the incredible experience of being part of something is set to become big...
For this first instalment of Clock we have a very interesting artist, the pupil of the Drumcode Pioneer Alan Fitzpatrick... We are very proud to introduce you Rich Jones is an artist that is making his way up and we strongly recommend to keep an eye on him.

RICH JONES
A self-confessed electronic music geek, with a penchant for fuzzy, dreamy analog synth atmospherics and tripped out rhythms, Rich Jones has honed his art now for a decade, after discovering Detroit and European Techno in the late 90s. In ?09, a few years after his first record was signed by a small digital label, Rich discovered that Richie Hawtin, one of Rich's original major inspirations, was playing his music, up to 3 times in a set. This continued for the next few years, and helped propel Rich through the international techno ranks, landing him in his now well established working relationship with Alan Fitzpatrick's 8 Sided Dice imprint, (for whom he also works as an engineer) and being snapped up by Slam for Soma Records. Having also just signed to Richie Hawtin's Minus, it's fair to say Rich Jones has made his unique mark on the international techno scene, and is highly respected worldwide for his driving, tough, yet hypnotic, music.
Utilizing a mixture of analogue outboard, and digital techniques, Rich channels his love of Detroit Techno, film scores, dusty analogue synthesizers, Chicago House, tribal drumming and percussive rhythms into his spacey and unique techno sound. His productions work on many levels – containing the intense energy required for maximum impact on the dance-floor, whilst still offering the casual listener many levels of complexity to discover on repeat listens. His overall techno aesthetic is ?hypnotic', and the influence of perhaps his biggest inspiration, Jeff Mills, can be heard throughout his energetic, tough, yet hypnotic, DJ sets.
His productions owe their inspiration to the vast, diverse cross-section of techno and IDM that has influenced him since his first exposure to electronic music, and always pack an energetic punch. Often tough, occasionally minimal, sometimes deep and dreamy, but always energetic, Rich has an impressive discography spanning such respected imprints as the mighty Soma Records and equally mighty Minus, 8-Sided Dice, Sleaze, Driving Forces, Spark, Ground Factory, Phobiq and Greta Cottage Workshop. His music has been played and supported the world over by such techno luminaries as Richie Hawtin, Adam Beyer, Joel Mull, Chris Liebing, Speedy J, Slam, Laurent Garnier, The Advent, Mark Broom, John Selway, Derrick May and many more. His own imprint, Gnosis Records, is due to launch in summer 2012, showcasing Rich's deeper side, via his alias Operator.
A DJ now for over a decade, with two residencies during that time, Rich's ten year run with turntables n' outboard FX, shifted to a hybrid digital/analogue DJ setup utilizing Ableton Live, controllers, and select bits of analogue kit, in around 2008. His love of Detroit techno shows in his incessantly energetic, dynamic, intricate sets, where he journeys from chunky techno-house beats to deep techno, and on into tougher territory, all the while utilizing the digital paradigm to its upmost, layering over 6 channels of audio, loops, percussion and outboard sounds...and with NO planning. Keeping spontaneity and a degree of chaos present in a DJ world with ?sync' is something Rich feels massively important. With the challenge of beat-matching absent, more time is freed up for truly creative purposes, Rich believes, ultimately hybridizing his DJ set with a live performance. His complex, intense, hypnotic and inventive sets are testament to this....

RENATO PEZZELLA
Renato Pezzella is a Dj / Producer from Naples(IT) , known for always searching for new sounds and unborn vibrations slowly transforming his passion for music into a full-time job. He is not accustomed to identify himself with a specific genre, his sets take you on a long winding musical journey which involves the mind, body and soul. He alternates DJ sets with activities in his studio where he gives birth to his productions. His love for Electronic music started the moment he took his first steps into the Neapolitan club scene which included clubs such as Aqabah, Metropolis, Ennenci, where he had the opportunity to grow and interact with professionals who lead him to develop a very personal sound which led to a DJ set in the most prestigious party in Campania. He then moved to Rimini where he had the opportunity to further widen his horizons and cemented him a gig playing in Ibiza where. In 2006, he releases 'deep frequencies' shortly followed by his debut album 'Voyager' on Jaywork Records, a collection of melodies alternating with deep electronic sounds. He is currently releasing on various labels such as krone records, jaywork records, fluida Records and Indelabel music. In 2007 he released his second album 'Obscure mind' on krone Records, put together with electro melodies, rolling drums and driving basslines. In 2008 he gave birth to his label zenith recordings and sub labels, zenith lounge and zenith tribal where many young national and international producers show off their unique skills and talents. Numerous tracks have appeared on compilations such as wmc09, ibiza underground, full moon party, Ibiza vibes and electronic essential selection.
Recently Renato has rekindled an old musical relationship which led him to join the Mediakode Management Roster, with the promise of a bright future ahead Renato is very enthusiastic.

SUB SECRET
Like a lot of good things it all started in a basement. A series of parties hidden away underground in the heart of London.....hence Sub Secret. A duo who's mix of beautiful cinematic melodies and dark driving techno has found a grateful audience around the world as well as in their London home.
Since their inception in 2007 few have seen the faces of the duo but their distinctive presence has be felt by many of London's regular party goers. Firm believers that the audience listen with more than just their ears and becoming bored of seeing the same facedown DJ's, standing behind the desks and "maybe"' once in a while would look up at the crowd, the duo have taken on their masked "Sub Secret" Alter egos whenever they play.
Friends from University Stephen Fewings & Mark Standerline decided to start sharing with the world their common love of big melodies and driving basslines through their productions. With their first tracks 5AM and Schizo'clock getting the attention of CodeKontrol Crew and being released as their first EP "Para la Manana" on Mind Abilitry Records.
Sub Secret are ceaselessly working and endlessly innovating. When not in the studio writing original material or remixing tracks they can be found out playing parties across Europe or more recently taking care of the running of Mind Ability Records.
Sub Secret creations oscillate from breath taking deep techno runs like “Rambo” or “Side Clap” to heart ripping melodic trips, such as “Wir Schauten Nicht” and "Only the Beginning".
Their vision, passion, and love of music continues to drive Sub Secret — and the extended Mind Ability Team — in all that they continue to do.

THEO KOMP
Theo Komp was born and raised in Greece in a family where music was highly appreciated and he was exposed to a few talented musicians. He soon realised a profound interest for electronic music. Over the years, he experimented with different kinds and aspects of music, song writing, production, recording, sound design, mixing and mastering. He started producing music in 2006 and it was then when he enrolled in Berklee College of Music. In 2010, he moved to London. Since then he has performed in many venues like: Egg, Nomad, 333, Pacha, M.inistry Of Sound, Rhythm Factory to mention but a few, he has been releasing his music in labels like Keep Out Recordings, Mind Ability, Deep Records and Solid Tracks Records.
Nowadays, Theo is the main man behind Minimal Force Records, a London based label specialized in minimal tech and experimental, as well as a member of the Codekontrol Family.
