Sideways Recordings are coming to The Lockside Lounge in Camden, bringing the unique deep and tech sound of our label.
The Lockside Lounge is a hidden gem located in the heart of Camden market and is one of Camden's best underground music venues. Fantastic cocktails and an eclectic range of beers make for an all round quality atmosphere, with a heated balcony for the chilly winter months.
A little about us here at Sideways: We are an underground house and techno label from the south-east coast of the UK, currently on our 21st release. Amongst our releases are tracks from Fraser Owen, Guy Hornsby, Shades of Gray, Robot Child (aka Tim Green) and remixes from Jamie Anderson, Chris James, Norm DePlume, Omid 16B and more. We have had DJ support on our tracks from Danny Howells, Lee Jones, Terry Francis, Huxley, X-Press 2 and many others. We are very excited to be coming to London.
Fraser Owen - Sideways very own rising star! This year has seen him collaborate with Noir and release on Savoir Faire Musique, as well as providing us at Sideways with 2 well received EPs. He'll be bringing his deep funk-fuelled house sound to the night.
Thom Norton - Labelled as the 'King of Deep', Thom has earnt this title by consistently playing lovely deep grooving house. His collaboration EP 'Domino' with Fraser Owen is out at the end of the year on Savoir Faire Musique.
Episodes - Episodes aka John Ashman is one of the essential cogs in the Sideways mechanism. he'll be setting the mood with one of his wonderfully eclectic sets he is known for.
Keydin - And the other leader of the Sideways pack, the energetic up for it tech house vibe from Keydin. His latest release on Sideways 'Remember' from earlier this year is an ideal reference point to his sound.
