MONGO are delighted to be returning this St Patrick's Day, Sunday March 17th to celebrate our 2nd birthday bash! Its hard to believe that this time two years ago we were planning a brand new all day party to take place in Dublin, not knowing the monster we were about to create! Since then, we have made some amazing new friends, welcomed some incredible DJs to our parties & most importantly, had an awful lot of fun with you :)
Thinking of the last two years puts a massive smile on our faces but we're not ones to dwell on the past and the Spring & Summer 2013 parties we have put together are bigger than ever! Stay tuned for a very different party to our norm on May Bank Holiday weekend :0 But before that, lets tell you all about our 2nd Birthday Bash on Paddys Day..!
When Mongo launched in March 2011, a little known Dublin-based producer by the name of Gavin Lynch was also making waves on the international techno scene. His success and ours has almost run like symmetry, so it is only fitting that this Paddys Day Mongo will be headlined by a MATADOR (M_nus) Live Show! We cannot wait! Also making a welcome return is Irish techno overlord, SUNIL SHARPE. We'll see a Mongo debut from RORY ST JOHN, LUKE CREED and many others. After destroying the Ballroom last time, DAVID DE VALERA is back. Pygalions BABESTEALER joins us, as does Beat FM's Darren Rice! Support in the various rooms comes from the likes of ELECTRIC BALLROOM DJs, DOUG COONEY, BUNGA BUNGA DJs and many others...
A special mention must also go to The Grand Socials new look beer garden which has undergone a transformation and had a retractable roof installed! This can only mean one thing - party time! Headlining the garden is ARVEENE who has caused chaos anytime he has played at one of our parties! DJ HER & KABOOGIE DJs amongst others on support!
