SHANE LINEHAN [Basic Grooves / Local Talk]
Hailing from Cork, Shane has quickly built a reputation for himself as an educated warm up DJ having promoted and run club nights in around his hometown and Limerick for the past 7 years. Collecting records from the mid 2000's, Shane always takes care to pack a great selection, spanning across many styles of timeless house and techno. Having warmed up for some of the most respected names to date - Prosumer, Brawther, Rob Mello, Nicholas, he knows just how to work a crowd.
Solidly establishing himself as a true DJ, Shane then went on to turn his hand to production. Starting his own vinyl only label (Basic Grooves) in 2010, helped him to remain focused on task and master his skills firmly. This was reflected through the release of his first record titled 'My Initial Grooves'. Tracks like 'Hidden Harmony' and 'Make It A Ritual', quickly drew attention and support from likes of DJ Deep, Kerri Chandler, Jus-Ed, The Revenge and Jeremy 'Underground Paris' amongst others. With the first Basic Grooves EP shifting almost 100 units in less than a week, distributors were left crying for represses!!
Since his first EP, Shane has maintained his run in producing and releasing timeless slices of house music, embracing the dubbed out, pacey and energetic sounds he has warmed up playing across the years into his own solo productions. This has seen "Basic Grooves Volumes 2,3,4 and 5" all being pressed on 12" as well as a remix for Local Talk Records.

Fuelling his dance music passion from an early age attending jungle raves in his hometown of Cambridgeshire, Wil has since developed and matured his tastes, momentum and ambition within the house and techno scene at the current age of 27.
Again, an avid vinyl collector, music has been Wil's life (in his words) 'since he can remember!' With his passion running so high, he decided to start Remote Records with his brother and close friends in 2010. Since then, he has developed his own unique production sound, bagging releases on Traxx Underground and Local Talk as well as releasing on his own imprint (Remote Records).
Whether Wil is buying records or making beats, his momentum continues to rapidly increase, making sure to never leave his listeners disappointed.
