IT'S OUR 2ND BIRTHDAY!!!
In the last 2 years we've been to London, Newcastle, Ibiza and Sonar, spreading our message as far as we could. That message has always been FUN. STP continues to put on events designed to raise a smile and get people moving to underground music.
Now we turn 2 years old and as a special treat we're putting on the biggest and best party yet and just in time for summer. What could possibly be worthy of such a bold claim? Not one but TWO outstanding headliners as well as two familiar faces who can also count themselves as headliners in their own right…
ADAM SHELTON (One Records, Cocoon)
As boss of One records (one of the Uk's most recognisable and influential house labels of the last couple of years) Adam is a standard bearer for midlands house music. Hailing from Birmingham he has stamped his name across the clubbing world as perhaps one of the best all rounders out there. Below, Starlight, his gigs with cocoon, running a label it's easier to list the things Adam Shelton doesn't do in the scene!
His sound drawing influence from early hip hop breaks and classic house music crossed with driving Tech House rhythms many Dj's rate him as one of their favourites and crowds will always been drawn to his hypnotic groove laden sets.
We're buzzing to have him play for us, we know you'll give him a fine STP welcome!
BLOODY MARY (Dame-music, One Records)
Berlin based Bloody Mary really came to our attention last year when she played the stand out set of Sonar at ONE ILLUSION's epic villa party in Barcelona. Her Label, Dame-music, has served as a platform for her music with "Spinning Around" really kick starting her career in 2010. Her label has since released tracks from the likes of Adam Shelton, STP favourite Jozif, John Dimas, Emerson Todd, Subb-An, Jef K and many more
Stints at Berlins notorious Panorama Bar are now a regular occurrence and she travels across the globe with a burgeoning popularity that is sure to snowball.
We're glad we can be the first to bring her to Leicester!
