Knightriders' 6 year anniversary party w/ Punisher (Detroit)
Punisher is Back! It’s been about 4 years since she blew the roof of the Baltic Room for Knightriders with a sultry live analog techno set. This time we booked her to play tech-house dj set this Thursday April 11th at Q Capitol Hill on the Function One Sound system! Just back and rested from playing Miami’s WMC, Punisher has a real treat in store for Seattle this go around. Expect House and Techno the Detroit way.

Known in circles of Detroit for her ambition on the tables, Michelle Herrmann aka Punisher has set a precedence in a city known for it's fickle taste. Starting behind the decks in 1993 and then beginning her first record label in 1997, Punisher searched for an outlet that would feature her own production along with having full control over her own distribution and manufacturing. The label became a unique tool that allowed Punisher to really dig down into her equipment for that minimalistic sound her production is known for.
20 years later with 40 releases and remixes under her belt Michelle's music is ever evolving. Moving in a new direction with her sound, Punisher has brought over the synthy tech moods of the Swedish techno producers and drawn upon her own Detroit roots for inspiration. Once banging out hard set's 100% of the time, her current sound has more dancefloor friendly house grooves, one that your club or event is sure to appreciate. She has repeatedly played throughout the US, Puerto Rico, Canada, Europe, and South America, headlining large scale events, festivals and world renowned clubs. On top of her games would be an understatement for Punisher, as her accomplishments are only a small portion of what she has planned for 2013 and beyond.
