We host local and global musicians with a focus on showcasing some of the finest Electronic Music Productions out there, and this time we have the pleasure to host T.W.I.C.E [ My Favorite Robot / Flumo Recordings ], and 2 special guests from Berlin, CEM ORLOW [ StudioR / Sova Rec ] MAXIMILIAN HERTZ
( Schwarzweiss Musik / Franconia -GER ), to complete the line up we have RAPHAEL MELLO, one of EGG London residents and one of our resident Djs as well, on his last gig in London before he moves to Ibiza for the season then South America tour from nov till jan, and for the first time in So Up as well we have IAN LEE from In The Air party which is becoming one of our favorites and promiss to make a special warmup set.
From house to raw electronic material content, we want dancers to sync up with us for the next So Up electronic music event.
Fingers crossed and we have an after party 5 min from the Venue !!!!!!

You could throw around any number of "genre-locking terms" – House, Funk, Deep House, Disco, Acid, Electronica; however, and you'd still fail to get to the meaning of T.W.I.C.E
T.W.I.C.E. originates in a collaboration between V.Rotz and Photoclick aka Antikom, both of them born at Flumo Netlabel.
Photoclick has developed his work within the most ambient and experimental side of the electronic music. For his part, V.Rotz has always focused his works in dance floors. The balance they reach with the join of their styles gives as a result a sound that could be defined as Deep techno, with hints of Dub and House.
Actually they are an essential part of the Flumo Recordings engine, and their music is appearing in such as great labels as My Favourite Robot, Fiakun, Nordik and of course Flumo. Their tunes have been frequently charted by people like Tim Green, Roberto Rodríguez, Varoslav, Baby G or Martin Landsky among others… and reviewed in Magazines like De_Bug, or Ibiza Voice...
Their sets has gone through countries like Spain, Portugal, UK, Sweden or Germany, confirming their good work in the cabin where they combining styles like Deep House, Disco, Techno....being able to connect with the crowd quickly...''

CEM ORLOW
DJ Cem Orlow was first inspired by music at a very young age singing in a choir. At the age of 19 he started to organize his first Drum & Bass-Party`s in Lübeck and pulled in the crowds through these uncommon sounds.
In 1997 he moves to Berlin and his new urban livestyle inspires his unbroken love for Techno and House Music. The most famous of the many clubs Cem Orlow has been playing so far is the legendary club Tresor and the Ostgut club. From 1997-2002 he worked with the trompet player Guy Bettini and were touring throughout the artscene in Germany and Switzerland as Bettini / Orlow „the electroacoustic experience“.
The multi-talent created events called White Cube in the Suicide Circus where he is also resident.
His partner Oleg alias Beoleg and him will release their first record in june 2013 on the label Sova Records which they created together. Cem is Cofounder and booker of Dj TV Studio R in Berlin.
Every 2 months Beoleg and Cem are making Kater Holzig Sova Label Partys.

MAXIMILIAN HERTZ

Maximilian Hertz with his just 25 years already is a well known guy in the german underground house scene. Playing and collecting records with passion for more than 7 years now. 2008 he founded the Netlabel “schwarzweiss Musik” together with his former partner “David
Tonspiel”. After 8 successful digital-releases they quit the
Netlabel. Right now Max is transforming “schwarzweiss Musik” into a regular, small but high-grade record label.
The first vinyl release launched in the end of January 2012 and hit position #64 in the charts of the biggest german vinylshop (decks.de). second one straight hit the #47 and the third one is in the plant and ready to appear in may.
organizing monthly label-nights since the the label was born to he invites artists from all over europe and further. He played in almost every part of germany and in Berlin venues like "kater holzig", "salon zur wilden renate", “about blank”, “suicide circus”, “MIKZ” or the famous
“Berliner Luft&Liebe Festival”.
Also internationally he is not a stranger anymore, playing at la Villette Enchante (Paris,FR), “Ventil Club” in Zürich/Baden (Switzerland), Italy´s most famous afterhour location “Doctor Sax” in Turin or the well known “Universo Paralello Festival” in Brazil.

Raphael Mello [So Up Musik / Inminimax Rec /Waves&Woods]
Raphael Mello has been absorbing music since he started to play the drums at the age of 12, through to the moment when he was confronted with a pair of decks, and continuing to the day when he started his career as a professional DJ in the year 2000. In 2003 Raphael moved to Curitiba (South Brazil) where he continued to increase his skills until he won the Disturbs Award, as South Revelation DJ, in 2004. This confirmed what everyone already knew…Raphael Mello had well and truly conquered a place in the Brazilian electronic scene.....His music style is a mix of Deep House and Tech, a sound that is always defined by a strong groove presence, and a fat bass line. He effectively demonstrates his skill and ability as a versatile DJ by creating different moods on the dance floor trough his mixes.
He has played in big events such as Islandance Festival, South Orbit Festival, Universo Paralello Festival, Trancendence Festival, Soulvision Festival, 303art Festival, Deputamadre Club, Dhangai, WARUNG Beach to name a few. He has also played in countries such as Uruguay, Portugal, Spain, England, Germany and others, including, Existence Dance Festival (ES), Happy Festival (ES), BOOM Festival (PT), PRIVILEGE (Ibiza), Underground Ibiza, The Zoo Project Ibiza, Cafe Del Mar Ibiza, Lolla, EGG London, Razmatazz, The loft, Moog, Macarena, Club 15, Moog, Skala, Apollo, Europa Lisbon, Morph GER, Studio R Berlin, Suicide Circus Berlin GER, and many others.
Rapha has had the pleasure of sharing the DJ Booth with names like: Chris Liebing, Extrawelt, Kaiserdisco, Lee Curtiss, Marco Carola, Minilogue, Oliver Klein, Riva Starr, Sebastian Leger, Sasha, Shaun Reeves, and many others.....
Raphael has become a very popular DJ during his 7 years in Europe. He's sponsored by a Portuguese brand called Waves & Woods which gives his stylish . For the past year and a half he's been playing a regular monthly set at ‘HEROES’ which is held at one of the best clubs in London: EGG Nightclub, Kings Cross.
He continues to play at clubs around London and abroad he travels back and forth from Brazil playing recently at the NYE Universo Paralello 11/12 Festival. He has also been named as an ‘Official EGG Nightclub London resident DJ of 2012’, and Berlin has became one of his favourites places to Djing.
