Bop Gun returns to our new home planet of Pacino's, 20 paces from Molly Molone on Suffolk St.,Dublin 2 with a seam-bursting line-up of talent ready to represent the funk-time continuum.

On the party lineup we have Kenny Hanlon who runs the stunning Apartment Records, writes for the blog Infinite State Machine and is undoubtedly one of the best djs around. Kenny is known for his ability to thread together electro, techno, italo, disco & house and is a fine example of the current enthusiasm for making things happen for underground producers & DJs locally & internationally. Kenny is also a member of the enigmatic group Gary's Gang who run house nights at Sweeny's on Dame Lane. Here's some links to Kenny's world:

And as if that wasn't enough homegrown underground goodness we are also proud to present, playing live, Educution from D1 recordings. Educution (AKA Tóirse) will be debuting some of his new material. This maverick house producer and dj has to be seen to be believed. Some say that he is Dublin's best answer to the great source of house music that is Ron Hardy. Others say that he is ahead of his time and that a genre has not yet been invented that captures his relentless sound. You can hear what all the fuss is all about at these links:

Also supporting on the decks will be dj Mark Flood (AKA Butt Ruffage otherwise known as Floody to his fans.) Mark, a funkateer, bon viveur and party man extraordinaire is
the artist behind the beautiful space craft illustration that features on our posters. On the night you can expect that Mark will bring us the finest original p-funk and some other party curveballs on wax.
Residents Platinum Ray (birthday boy whoop!) and thatboytim will drop a tune or two if required, but for this one or they might just enjoy and bask in the awesomeness of this stellar line-up.
