EPM ist eigentlich ein in Maastricht beheimatetes Multifunktionsbüro mit Musikvertrieb, Dj-Management von Robert Hood, und seit einiger Zeit auch mit einem Label am Start.
Mit THE THIRD MAN haben sie nun einen äußerst raffinierten Künstler gesignt, der mit Basslines, die stark an Chicago-House erinnern, rockt, und auch mit UK- Rave Attitüden nicht geizt. Alles in allem eine durchweg intelligente und komplexe Art von Techno, immer mit einer Überraschung in der Hinterhand. Nicht minder komplex ist der zweite Headliner des Abends, Mark Stewart oder auch bekannt als CLARO INTELECTO, welcher schon vor Jahren mit seiner Peace of Mind EP begeistern konnte. Der aus Manchester stammende Musiker weiss mit seiner atmosphärisch dichten und teils melancholischen Harmonie eine wahre Schönheit entstehen zu lassen, die immer wieder von teils Electro-artigen 808 Beats auf den Boden der Tatsachen zurück gebracht wird. Mit ERWAN und unserem Resident BENI und TURTLEZ aus dem Hause skrufix wäre der passende Support für diesen Abend gesichert!

Once again EPM team up with Berlin’s Suicide Circus to bring you the album launch party for The Third Man’s debut artist album ‘'Beyond the Helisophere’ as The Third Man unveils his all new full live show.
Joining The Third Man and hailing from Manchester we are also pleased to have Claro Intelecto play live, who alongside John Heckle remixed the first single from the album ‘Double Dawn’. Joining the pair we have DJs Erwan from Nix, Suicide Circus’s own Beni and Skrufix man Turtlez.
After something of a hiatus, Manchester's Claro Intelecto released his third full-length album, ‘Reform Club’, on Delsin Records in 2012. Throughout his career, the man known as Mark Stewart has always created lush deep house and techno soundscapes awash with dubby undercurrents. A heavyweight, dub oriented house and techno framework has loosely characterised Claro Intelecto's output over the year’s and as well as producing and composing, Stewart takes a bespoke live show across the globe, playing everywhere from Sao Paolo to Moscow via Sonar and… Suicide Circus!
British born, London based producer The Third Man (Toby Leeming) had previously delivered releases on influential electronic labels like Ai, ART and Tabernacle before EPM put out his ‘Double Dawn’ single earlier this year. Accompanied by reworkings from like-minded producers Claro Intelecto and John Heckle, it presented the first sample of what ‘Beyond The Heliosphere’ had in store – a fine-tuned and captivating long-player.
With its feet planted in Techno the album also explored House, Electro and dubbier flavours, as well as the Italo sound of tracks like ‘Pipes At Helios Canyon’, the soon to be released second single, complete with a Legowelt remix. Displaying the diverse talent of this confident young producer, the retro synth electronica of ‘Pipes…’ has the emotion of Moroder, with the playfulness of Jarre.
The Third Man will be performing his new full live show at SuicideCircus in Berlin on Friday 5th July, ahead of the release of ‘Pipes of Helios Canyon’ both digitally and on 12” vinyl from 8th July on EPM.
The Turtlez project emerged from its shell after Skrufix's Things With Wings and The Crane met for a series of informal music-making sessions. Tempering their love for the feisty bass and exuberant rhythms of UK garage with their addiction to house resulted in the crowdsurfing rave-amen single 'I Want to Fly'. Since then, Turtlez have been applying their lighthearted and heavy sampling ethic to electro and gospel, while stirring their recordings of singers and cutlery into a smooth dressing for drizzling over their DJ sets.
