Human Nature is Back for three amazing days and nights.
We gather once again in celebration of Human Nature near serene waterfalls, majestic mountains, misty mornings and warm forest vibes at Prindel Creek Farms, located in the beautiful coastal mountains of Tidewater, Oregon. The property has been home to many other great events in the past including last years Human Nature, Earthdance NW 2011, Mountain Stomp, Indijineous, SOAK and many others.
Human Nature is an exploration into the human psyche through music, light, art and creative human expression. Multiple stages and community spaces meander throughout the creek, creating the setting for cathartic and often times mystical journeys that transcend category or genre.
This year we have an expanded line-up that includes not only electronic dance music, but also conscious hip-hop, fusion electronica, spoken word, ceremonial prayerformances and so much more in store!
Human Nature brings a healthy stock of Pacific Northwest and North America Musicians together to create a musical journey that weaves its way through both time and space.
Throughout the property, the collective work of hundreds of artists and untold participants transform the forest into surreal vistas, surrounded by forest smiles on all sides.
Visionary artists, mind altering performances, movement arts, consciously selected vendors, and most importantly, YOU!
Each day our educational center will host workshops and seminars on a wide variety of tranformational subjects. Notable talks this year include The Unified Field Theory, delivered by Jamie Janover. Skills workshops include everything from flow arts to music production, electronic media arts, yoga and even guided meditations this year as well. Expect some unique workshops on subjects ranging from slacklining to drum theory.
This years art space is hosted by Portland-based curator Bea Ogden of Cloud.Break, bringing together notable visionary artists from around the North West in a truly collaborative setting, featuring a three dimensional live art mural that evolves throughout the event. The Art Dome will involve the works of over 30 artists, and host daily workshops and participatory creations.
Sunday night is marked by our annual effigy burn, and serves as a monumental and meaningful way to bring closure to the festival. We are also bringing together an AMAZING LINEUP for Sunday Night. We highly encourage you to stay until Monday this year, as our Sunday night activities are shaping up to be one the highlight nights of the festival. Festival Go-er’s can stay through Monday Night if needed, but absolutely must be out by Tuesday, July 2nd by 12pm. No exceptions.

Human Nature Festival is being held at Prindel Creek Farms in Tidewater, Oregon. This property is prime for Festival season, where the environment is lush and shady, with the occasional rolling fog and erratic weather. Come prepared for rain and shine, as this is still Oregon..
There is the Alsea market just down the road from the property about 30 minutes away. If you find your self ill-prepared for the event, they have literally anything you could think of. If you must leave, there is no re-entry fee, though you may loose your parking spot as the car park is separate from the camp sites due to safety concerns. If you are bringing a lot of gear into the festival you may want to bring a wagon or hand truck. Camping is going to get pretty tight by the time the majority of our attendee’s are situated. We don’t suggest bringing your white picket fence and expecting that people will be happy about taking up a ton of space, but if you get there early you’ll be able to find a nice spot, without issue. If you choose not to purchase a parking pass for the car camping lot, expect to have to carry your camping gear into the camp grounds. A hand truck or wagon is advised unless you upgrade to Car Camping.

This is a working farm with grazing horses and other animals that live off the land. Any glass bottles will be confiscated at the gate. We don't want to take your beer, but the staff will definitely drink it if you bring it in glass bottles.
Please be respectful and DO NOT LITTER. Recycling Stations For Depositables Only will be placed throughout the site. Proceeds will benefit the Alsea River Elementary School’s Head Start Program. All other trash and recycling is your responsibility to dispose of off site. PACK IT IN, PACK IT OUT.
Also, ABSOLUTELY NO N2O! Nitrus tanks are strictly prohibited and will be confiscated. Offenders will be asked to leave. No EXCEPTIONS.
The farm will be selling ice and showers, among other odds and ends you might find yourself in need of through out the festival.
There are multiple port-o-potties on site and daily service to keep them clean. The festival is ADA compliant as well and as long as everyone respects the porto’s then we can all enjoy the festival in comfort. There will also be an onsite Camp host who can answer any of these kinds of questions, as well as handle any safety issues or disturbances for you. We have hired friendly, round the clock security, staffed by Oregon Events Enterprises that will be patrolling the festival for your safety, as well as a Karma Patrol to help our guests stay safe in a non-intrusive, non-aggressive way. If you need medical assistance or healing, there is free on-site medical as well as a Safe Space for people wrestling with the inner most aspects of their Human Nature. Massage Therapists and Energy Workers are also available for body work at the healing station, for a small fee, determined between you and the therapist.
There is a dedicated Helipad for Life Flight in case of emergency. Under no circumstances are guests allowed to park their car or set up in this field, as it must be kept clear for emergencies. Also, do not set up your camp on any of the dirt roads through the campsites, as the pathways through the property are also the Fire Lane for emergencies and porto john servicing. The rule is, “If your camp’s not on the grass, move your... you know what.” Please note that there is not any cell phone service on the property, so in the event of a medical emergency, please alert MEDICAL near the INFO BOOTH or find someone with a radio so that we can relay a message to the front of the property where there is a telephone.
