Special Summer Series is a set of daytime dance parties in Vancouver's most beautiful parks. Whether you are there to take in the incredible international and local musical talent or to have a picnic with friends, there is no better way to spend a sunny afternoon this summer. Now in our fourth year, the series of showcases will move between downtown's hidden gem, Crab Park, and East Vancouver's sprawling and stunning New Brighton Park.
Hosted by VUSI, a non-profit committed to the adventurous use of city space, the events aim to create a sense of community that engages with its neighbours. The events are family friendly and always welcoming to anyone in attendance.
From the very beginning, these events have always been put together with a singular goal: make it special.
