After bringing some of the UK and Europe’s best DJ talent to Glasgow since last year, it’s now time for Missing Persons Club to look further afield. New Jersey-based DJ and producer DJ Qu has been dancing to, playing and writing tracks since the 1990s and is on a roll in recent years with a steady stream of rhythmic, dark, stripped down releases and remixes on his own Strength Music label established in 2005 as well as on Rekids, Syncrophone, Deconstruct, Desolat and The Corner.
Alongside his close cohorts and friends such as Levon Vincent, Anthony Parasole, Jus-Ed and Fred P he’s helped define the current unmistakable gritty yet groovy house sound of New York and the wider East Coast.
Qu is a regular fixture at the likes of Fabric, Panorama Bar, DC10, Space and the European festival circuit, and Missing Persons Club is proud to present his Scottish debut in Saint Judes.
