Recap.
It's that time again, and it has been a while since the last LATE & DEEP, which - if you remember correctly - was a HOT HOT HOT event. Literally. We chose not to throw a L&D in August due to the inferno people had to dance in for the SOUND IN MOTION L&D After-party. At that event, we had an AMAZING lineup consisting of several international and out of town acts, all of whom were basically headliners at Sound in Motion 2013 or 2012 including MIKE SHANNON + BILLY DALESSANDRO + YES MA'AM + MATT & MARK THIBEDEAU +TWONZ (ANTWON FAULKNER)... lets just say the Red Door turned into a fireball factory and the sweaty crowd loved every second of it (but swore not to dance in that heat again).
Fast Forward to now....
We had some trouble sorting out our venue for this month's LATE & DEEP event with a Toronto favourite who has come to Toronto from Paris twice now.... once for LATE & DEEP #8 ( Our very first ever international headliner to play the LATE & DEEP series), which, for those who were there, was our biggest event up to that date and was an absolute RIOT of a jam!! We brought him up last year while he was in NYC but unfortunately we couldnt host him at L&D due to bad timing.... but he played his spooky brand of dance-friendly techno as well as ever at LATE & DIP Sundays.
We are READY to have him back, and if you have not guessed who it is yet, we are proud to announce that our good friend is none other than REMAIN (France), the Parisian techno monster and label head over at MEANT records. To sweeten this one up, we are super stoked to announce that this jam will also have TWO headliners and that Remain will be supported by his label mate - who is also a return LATE & DEEP favorite - - VOSPER (Montreal) who absolutely smashed the dancefloor when he came to play for us a few months ago with TAZZ.
These two need no more introduction because YOU the Late & Deep freak has probably already heard that these two are insane dancefloor selectors better known as Dance animals for their unrelenting assault on our city's underground dance community. We cannot wait to see them both in action, together!
