  • Leftfield deep musics emerging from the West Coast •Chambers• Chambers is a collaboration between Gabriel Saloman and Michael Red, who loosely describe the project as “minimal dub,” initially inspired by Rhythm & Sound. Opening for Shackleton in the summer, the lauded producer himself had kind words for the duo. Their tracks are gently driven by heaving rhythms and thundering basslines, sounds which subsist in a gaseous atmosphere somewhere in the hinterlands between ambient and straightforward dub music. Gabriel Saloman, a writer, curator, and interdisciplinary artist, performs solo under his own name and as Sade Sade, plays in Diadem with Aja Rose Bond (DJ Tapes, Her Jazz Noise Collective, In Flux), and is known for his part in the psych-noise duo Yellow Swans. In Chambers, he plays guitar, tapes, and live analog processes. Michael Red is a Vancouver-based producer, performer, DJ and promoter. The founding member of Vancouver collective Lighta! Sound and acting captain of Low Indigo, he also performs ambient-leaning music under the alias Souns and is a curator for the New Forms Festival. https://soundcloud.com/chambers-theta •Seekers International• "Seekers continually labours to bring you the finest selections from another dimension." Their wild, genre-bending live shows have earned them a spot as one of Victoria's most energetic, entertaining acts. As they put it: “Live techno to open a hole in your mind and let the love ooze out”. http://righteousrainbows.com/ •Phonal• Phil Thomson is a Vancouver-based composer of experimental electronic music.
