Electronic music duo involving two brothers. One is graphic designer, runs an art gallery, designs the light show of the french electro rock band NASSER.
The other is a piano player, produce sound-tracks, sound-design, work with sensors to sonify shows.
Both always played music together, and share a big love for synthesizers and drum machines.
Both founding members of Tcheaz, they sign the first two EPs of the Tcheaz label in 2013.
L'AMATEUR
Eclectif DJ, L’Amateur shapes sets inspired from various electro, disco, hip hop or pop influences. He mixes styles and eras! Everything but not anything nor anyhow: a shifted sound but properly adjusted through effective and bold technique. Since 1997, he performs on Southeast stages and festivals (Aires Libres – Marseille, Les Plages Electroniques – Cannes, Transmusicales off – Rennes , Printemps de Bourges …).
The Amateur is also editor in chief and Bienvenue au Club radio show DJ on Radio Grenouille (Marseille).
Regular collaborator of Midi Festival (as DJ and night and electronic events scheduler ), L’ Amateur is also the founder of Bienvenue au Club radio show on Radio Grenouille.
JOHN E BOY
John Pons, aka John E.Boy, discovere electronic music very young when his english mates make him listen some UK GARAGE JUNGLE / DRUM & BASS mixtapes. He gets on decks at 16 and mixes anything he finds. When he moves to Aix-en-Provence that he meets Spy/D and together they launch ON POINT parties, where he mixes for the first time in public at 18.
Very soon, John E.Boy becomes known for his Drum & Bass DJ Sets, even if he continues to play all styles of Breaks. Clubs to Raves, John E.Boy doesn’t leave any chance to play slip through his fingers.
He co-hosts the BASSE FREQUENCE Radio show every Wednesday on Radio Grenouille (88.8 FM). In digging into every styles of Bass Music that he discovers et shares, on stage and on radio, the crossover between Dubstep, House, UK Garage and Breakbeat.
