OTAKU SOUNDSYSTEM follow on from our previous party with Italian legend Beppe Loda in October, we are flying in DJ KAOS from Berlin to PREMIUM Sofas Club, Sheung Wan, Hong Kong!
DJ Kaos who was one of the first Graffiti taggers in West Berlin in the 80s has had numerous releases and remixes out, including on James Murphy's DFA Records. Kaos was a member of Terranova & the DJ Kicks family and comped vinyl with Liquid Liquid's Sal P.
As a producer he has remixed everyone from German Krautrock legend Manuel... Goettsching (E2E4), Roxy Music & Brian Ferry and on his solo lenght album 'Hello Stranger' collaborated with artists like Erlend Øye, Daniel Wang, The Rapture and The Hundred in the Hands.
Kaos has been releasing a lot of heat on his own label, JOLLY JAMS, too, including contributions from Tiago, Eric Duncan, The Backwoods and Dr Beat from San Sabastian & is up to their 11th release to date.
