Launched in January 2013 Coup d’Etat is a night that keeps the emphasis on quality underground electronic music, bringing forward thinking DJs and producers with a pure love for their craft into the limelight.
Since then Coup d’Etat has enjoyed a monthly residency at the Shoreditch Butchery. By booking guest DJs such as Warboy (Heroes), Frantic Obsessions (Beige Identity), Clouded Judgement (Sleazy Deep / CUFF), Flymo & RePlay (CantStopWontStop) and Tommy Mack (Link London), it has pulled off a series of gatherings with a relaxed vibe and has attracted a mature but discerning crowd looking for tough uplifting vibes, deep house, nu disco and G House.
Having more recently positioned itself as a G House infused night, Coup d’Etat continues to feature DJs and Producers that are shaping the future of underground electronic dance music.
