As we enter a new and exciting digital age, where technological advances are forever pushing the seamless boundaries of electronic music, it should come as no surprise then that a collective of like-minded musical aficionados should wish to unite and establish a novel series of showcase events, which appositely align with the organic evolution of electronic music…
Avant Garde endeavours to pioneer an authentic new concept for London’s electronic music scene, maintaining a strict music policy of showcasing vinyl only performers alongside the most technologically gifted live artists, who are currently leading the future direction of electronic music.
Recognising the importance of the ‘musician behind the machine’, Avant Garde strives to inspire its audiences with romantic encounters with some of electronic music’s most exciting live acts, whilst fusing these performers with some of the World’s finest vinyl technicians, at some of London's most accomplished music venues.

Detlef is the new moniker of Alexander Georgiandis, an individual that has graced the dance music scene with releases on various labels and gigs in clubs all over the world. Having made his debut in February 2010 Detlef has already managed to release music on respected labels such as Moon Harbour, Material Series, Serkal and has most recently signed with VIVa MUSiC.

Adored for her positive energy and bassline-driven sound, Anthea is a unique production talent renowned for her consistently quality tracks, and a skilled label head who has unearthed the finest underground talent that Brouquade has to offer.
2013 has been a watershed year for the London-born, Berlin-based artist, raising her profile like never before appearing on line ups like the infamous Used + Abused parties throughout the Ibiza summer and then topping off a stellar season joining Carl Craig and Nina Kraviz for the Carl Cox curated 'The Party Unites' event at Space.
With further 2013 appearances at the inaugural Off:Wax Sonar event in Barcelona, Phonica's 10th birthday takeover of London's Fabric club, an invite from Japan's Air club and a monthly residency at essential Berlin spot Club der Visionaere, all the signs indicate that Anthea is a star in the ascendant.
A recent pairing has had her in the studio beside Brouquade partner-in-crime Dana Ruh and with an emphasis on creating and not imitating, and with her boundless energy and personal warmth, she has laid solid foundations in 2013, and beyond that there lies nothing but an inspired future.

Regarded as one of Holland's hidden gems, Lilith has been plying her trade in the industry for 10 successful years. With a versatile playing style, from vinyl to live show, this Dutch musician seems to have all the attributes of an artist destined to succeed at the very highest level.
From playing at the best festivals her homeland NL has to offer (Mystery Land, Dance Valley, Welcome to The Future, Rockit Open Air) as well as gracing some of the World’s most respected club mainstays, such as Watergate, Chalet Berlin, Stereo Montreal, Melkweg, Black Box Italy, Catwalk, We Are FSTVL and Ushuaia Ibiza, and more, Lilith has also proudly held down a 2 year residency at Amsterdam's legendary bastion of all things underground, Studio 80 between 2010 - 2012.
Boasting numerous successful releases on the likes of Monique Musique, NoVus and EDEC, 2014 will see the release of the remixed edition of a 5 track mini-album, on one of London's most exciting and dynamic independent labels 'Art of Dark'.
‘Lagrimas del Sol’, is a collaboration between Lilith and Miami born and Berlin based talent David Gtronic, which fast became the label’s most successful release to date. The resounding popularity of the original release, which can only be defined as sophisticated, emotional and authentic techno of the highest order, has led to the album now being remixed by Kate Simko, Tomas Rubeck, Zefzeed, Ilario Liburni, DJ Medeew & Chicks Luv Us, and sets the tone for how 2014 will inevitably unfold for one of the hottest prospects of the year.

Having enjoyed his most successful year to date, Scott Kemp continued his ascent to the forefront of a new generation of tech-house pioneers in 2013, achieving stand-out releases on some of the hottest labels of the moment, whilst also gracing some of Europe’s coolest party destinations, including London, Ibiza, Milan, Turin and Cologne.
Scott opened 2013with his ‘Neptis’ EP, released last February on Detroit based label ‘Hypertone‘, enjoying impressive remixes from both Randall M (tINI and the Gang) and our first guest Anthea. This was followed- by a stomping three track EP collaboration with Berlin based Miss Jools in August, and ‘London Asylum’ was released on the infamous ‘mobilee records’ with another tasty remix from close friend and ‘mentor’ Anthea.
Most recently, Scott’s second collaboration with Miss Jools, ‘Bring It Back’, dropped on Manchester based vinyl imprint ‘Lowroom Recordings‘, and featured bomb remixes from Fuse’s Ittetsu and Alexandar Kyosev.
The start of 2014 has seen his label NoVus launch, with a debut VA featuring tracks from Randall M, Lilith, P.Jones, Chad Andrew and Duky, which hit #1 in the Beatport Top Releases chart in its first week of release.
On a personal note, Scott has another solid track due for release on Fuse’s sub-label ‘Infuse’ early into the year, and a 4 track EP also scheduled for release on the highly-regarded ‘Turquoise Blue Recordings’, accompanied by a fine array of remixes from DJ W!ld, Hector and Seph.
So with all this considered, it’s safe to say that 2014 will be even more colossal year for this likely London lad.
