Rarely are figures encountered that are so severely intertwined with their art and passion that they morph into virtually another entity altogether that is both innately inseparable and utterly ungovernable in any conventional sense – though that is undoubtedly the case with Amir Alexander.
Arriving late on the scene only in terms of recognition, Amir has had more than his fair share of time spent on the peripheries grinding away and honing in on his craft in the proverbial wood shed. Electing to drop-out of the scene entirely for a time there, his re-emergence has seen him more possessed, determined and driven than ever. With an arsenal of dangerous tracks by his side, both of his own doing and from various members of his crews, it's not surprising a slew of seditious releases have ensued as we have become more familiar with this enigmatic and enthralling figure.
