“So, it's here - our last party of 2013, it's come around fast!
At the end of what's been a pretty crazy year here at BeatStreet, what better way to end it than on Mad Friday with one of our notorious Christmas parties. This time we've decided to team up with another local brand, our friends over at MDNGHT Records.
A relatively new name within the Leeds scene, MDNGHT threw parties at our old haunt, The Garage, and when they're coming out with solid statements such as "“anyone would fuck techno if it was a sexy German goddess” we knew they were suitable partners for this special occasion.
Focusing on the more industrial end of the techno spectrum, yet maintaining the classic heavy bass and energy of the UK underground, these boys will be lighting up the dancefloor in a fashion us and our crowd will approve of.
After utilising the awesome Full Circle last month, we're on the move again and this month we'll be throwing it down at BeatBar, a venue that suits us so much it even has some of our name in it! This basement club is tucked away underneath one of Leeds' main shopping centres. The intimate and raw surroundings also play host to a weighty Funktion One sound system, and suits BeatStreet perfectly.
Holding it down throughout the night alongside the MDNGHT lads will be our residents, who between them this year have appeared in London, Amsterdam, Brazil and Ibiza to name just a few locations.
As ever, there'll be some Christmas surprises and festive treats for everybody...”
