In the beginning there was JACK and JACK had a groove and from this groove came the groove of all grooves! With such an action packed few months already consigned to the history books, it is time for JACK to step in to 2014 in style. With this in mind JACK welcome’s Paul C & Paolo Martini, two producers who took 2013 by storm and look set to continue their fine form in the new year!
With a combined career that spans 40 years in the business, Italian producers Paolo Martini & Paul C have been, seen and done it all. Since 2009 the pair have worked tirelessly in the studio and have not only seen their music supported by many of the industry’s biggest names, but also seen their work feature on labels including Area Remote, Terminal M,100% Pure, Hot Creations (with staunch support from Jamie Jones), AMA Recordings, Great Stuff, Kiara Records and of course Paul’s Boutique.
2013 is the year of the boyz! After the phenomenal response to "Take Some Time" on Terminal M, they came forth once more with two stellar releases in "Spunk" on Materialism and "We Repeat" on Cecille Numbers (an underground anthem or sorts this year). "We Repeat" became one of the most highly rated tracks of the summer getting airtime at clubs and festivals the world over. The duo also gained the wholehearted support of the one and only Jamie Jones with their EP Get This smashing down doors since its release date in early November on his very own imprint Hot Creations. The EP also featured the much loved Bull Revenge which has seen widespread support from many heavyhitters including the Welsh wizard himself who repeatedly championed it at Paradise.
This autumn the Italian pair also found time to put out the delicious Waterdrops EP (once more on Terminal M) which catapulted them back in the spotlight with the pair lauded for their creative flair. With all these in mind it seems like this January (the 10th to be precise) is the ideal time to catch these exciting talents doing what they do best. Expect the Button Factory to rock from start to finish with setting the pace from start to finish.
