For our first party of 2014, Midland (Sheworks, Aus Music, Graded) and Galcher Lustwerk (White Material) join resident Spencer for an intimate session at the Sub Club.
Galcher Lustwerk stirred things up last year with his 60 minute mixtape 100% Galcher. It showcased his laid back vocal style alongside the rough and ready House and techno that our friends in New York are killing it with at the moment. It seems like everyone else loved it just as much as we did with Resident Advisor users voting it in as their mix of the year for 2013. Alongside Young Male and DJ Richard he runs the White Material label which has been responsible for a run of staggeringly good and impossible to find twelves.
Next up is Midland, someone we’ve known for a while but is finally making his debut at Numbers. Having previously collaborated with Pearson Sound, Breach and Pariah, Midland had a beast of a year in 2013. He dropped the belter that is ‘Trace’ on Aus Music, launched his own label ‘Graded’, joined forces with our man JD Twitch on the Autonomous Africa 12 and closed it with a banging mix for RA.
